About f***ing time. You can't protect catchers and not protect infielders. Plus, this protects baserunners as well. How many times have we seen base runners get concussions or head injuries from take out slides? Morneau basically ruined his career doing that.

I said from the beginning of the playoffs that the Cardinals would lose to either the Cubs or Pirates in the DS. They're just too banged up and pretty much all of their pitchers overachieved their peripherals. I just hoped the Cubs would crap themselves under the pressure their fans create. Looks like that didn't exactly happen.

I can't believe Lackey gave up a hit to Hammel and then gave up a 3 run shot right afterwards. God damn the Cardinals suck.

Arrieta looked human today. Too bad the Cardinals pitching sucked.
