  1. QUOTE (daa84 @ Oct 17, 2015 -> 08:25 PM) that ball that hit rizzo was not that far from being a strike Rizzo's right on top of the plate. That's why he led baseball in HBP this year.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 16, 2015 -> 11:34 AM) With all the appearances by deGrom and Thor, I kind of forgot about Matt Harvey and the fact that he is probably their best pitcher. Interesting match-up with one team hoarding young pitchers vs. the other hoarding young hitters. Eh, I'd say deGrom is their best pitcher. It's Harvey's first year back from TJ and to be honest, he hasn't been that great since his good start to the season.
  3. So I guess Harvey is going game 1?
  4. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 03:23 PM) OL' ONE EYE MASKED MAN K.C. Johnson ‏@KCJHoop 2h2 hours ago But with one eye open, I think I could play pretty good. K.C. Johnson ‏@KCJHoop 1h1 hour ago How long for mask? "I hate getting my face touched so if I’m feeling it and we’re playing good, you might see it for the rest of my career" You need a second eye to get depth perception...so I don't know how he can play with only one eye.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 01:54 PM) Lester vs. Anderson/Wood/Syndergaard - game 1 Arrieta vs. Kershaw/Harvey - game 2 I would really prefer the Mets to win today. 3 very reliable starters and a pretty good one in Matz.
  6. QUOTE (shipps @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 01:30 PM) Russell is out for the NLCS with a hammy according to Jesse Rogers. Is La Stella going to play SS then? There's no way Castro plays short again right?
  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 01:12 AM) Why wouldn't he be starting game 3 on full rest next Tuesday? I thought today was Thursday for some reason...but yeah, he would be ready to go for game 3. But you said he won't be ready until game 7 so I was confused by that.
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 11:54 PM) The Royals already have something of a difficult decision. They can start Ventura on 3 day's rest, and they would be going back to back with that. On the other hand, he didn't pitch close to a full game in the (first) rain delay (in middle of the game) start. Volquez is the other option here. So it's an interesting decision. Cueto definitely won't go until game 3, and he's basically refusing to go on 3 days, so that means some combination of Volquez/Ventura in Games 1/2. http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_...edinson-volquez .714 OPS against by the Blue Jays (active players), but only a .227 average. http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_...yordano-ventura .693 OPS for Ventura against Toronto, .217 BAA. Game 1 starter would have to go on 3 day's rest on Tuesday (Game 4/October 20th) or they will have to start Medlen/Duffy/Guthrie/Chris Young instead. I'm not sure they can afford to do that if they're down 2-1 in the series. Finally, Cueto would be unavailable until a potentially-deciding Game 7, so the huge/pivotal Game 6 starter is a huge mystery as well for the Royals... No he'll be ready for game 4.
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 06:46 PM) Hopefully Andrus is able to shake this off, and doesn't let it ruin his career or worse. His career has kinda been in a nose dive ever since he got his big contract a few years ago.
  10. I was already rooting for the Jays before this, but now I really want them to win the WS.
  11. Jays are going to the ALCS
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 06:24 PM) Might as well have a guy not on the roster ejected during the weirdest inning ever. Cecil got ejected too.
  13. Watch the Rangers come back with 4 runs...just because this game is that weird.
  14. Alright this inning is officially the weirdest ever. Encarnacion just hit an infield single.
  15. QUOTE (shysocks @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:58 PM) Canadians didn't grow up playing baseball so they don't know not to throw s*** on the field. Canadians don't know how to catch, but they know how to throw.
  16. Reminds me of the 2012 NL Wild Card game in Atlanta. You usually don't see fans throw garbage on the field this much.
  17. Bautista's bat flip was f***ing awesome.
  18. This Blue Jays team is fun to watch.
  19. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:53 PM) Worst defensive inning ever They've given the Jays 7 outs in this inning...
  20. Wow...the Jays have barely hit a ball out of the infield this inning.
  21. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:47 PM) I'm not sure I've seen 3 errors on 3 straight plays. Impressive. Blue Jays loudest baseball stadium I've ever heard. WOW. Being in a dome helps.
  22. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:44 PM) The 2nd play was not an error on Andrus, it was an error on the 1B. Well now it's two errors.
  23. Pompey just kind of tripped the catcher...they might get two outs on this.
  24. lmao does Andrus have a hole in his glove?
