  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 28, 2014 -> 05:06 PM) I guess he hurt his knee on that last play ???
  2. Eaton has talent. It's his ability to get hurt that worries me. He's had nagging injuries all year. If he were truly healthy, he's probably a .300 hitter.
  3. Still a Cub-killer.
  4. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 05:48 PM) They're also as big as one of our states. If the US was as big as Minnesota, we'd all have 10000000000000 mbit right now. EDIT: Scratch that...both North Korea and South Korea COMBINED are as big as one of our states. No we wouldn't, because the cable companies would have too much pleasure watching us pay more for s***ty internet.
  5. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 05:40 PM) The national average for South Korea last year was ~20 Mbps. So, uh...no, they wouldn't. I'm sure some have crazy fast speeds but a lot don't. http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/south-kor...ster-than-yours http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_in_South_Korea Is it faster than most of the US, yes...but does the average South Korean have 100+mbit...no they do not. They may in the future, but who cares, so will I. The average American doesn't get 100 mbit either. The article you linked says South Korea has the fastest internet in the world at an average of 21 mbps. Their infrastructure was built a lot later than ours, so it's a bit more modern, this is especially true of their cellular networks.
  6. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 08:53 AM) Felipe Luis to Chelsea as well. The blues are absolutely stacked. Excited to see what the plan is with Cech and Courtois One of them will get transfered and it won't be the much younger one. Cech is still really good though.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 01:49 PM) Escobar was 56 in Baseball America's preseason top 100. So better by the single, limited metric. He's struggled this year but that's as a 22 year old pitcher in the PCL. Quite the return for Peavy Seriously. Peavy's been worse than pretty much every regular starter on the Sox this year and they got a lot for him. Not to mention he's owed like $6 million for the rest of the year. This makes me like our chance of getting rid of Danks.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 25, 2014 -> 03:45 PM) I [heart] Jo. K.C. Johnson ‏@KCJHoop 6m Noah: "I'm happy for LeBron. He gets to go home; people are happy over there. I really hope we can kick his ass as many times as possible." You guys think Cleveland's cool? Who says "I'm going to Cleveland on vacation"?

The Bears should be pretty beastly to play with this year in Madden 15. Marshall's a 96 and Forte is a 95. Both higher than what they had been in previous years. Add in Jeffery (probably high 80s or low 90s) and Bennett (mid 80s) and that's one hell of an offense.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 25, 2014 -> 11:34 AM) RUMOR Bulls receive: Kevin Martin, Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters Cavs receive: Kevin Love, Mike Dunleavey Jr, Gorgui Dieng Timberwolves receive: Andrew Wiggins, John Lucas III, Erik Murphy, Taj Gibson, Tony Snell That's terrible.
  11. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jul 22, 2014 -> 09:53 PM) Atletico got raided this offseason. They won't be much of a contender. Yup, Costa and Courtois are both gone.
  12. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jul 24, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) Mariners acquire Kendry Morales for Stephen Pryor. Confusing Umm...why didn't they just sign him when he was a free agent for half the season?
  13. Can we please start hitting Gillaspie second? Having Beckham hit there is painful.
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) They aren't even the biggest cock tease in Chicago as long as the Cubs are still around Delusional people deserve it.
  15. Boy the Bulls are so good at getting fans excited and then not delivering. Bulls fans have more collective blue balls than any other NBA fan base. Although in this case, not delivering wouldn't be a huge issue for me. I'm content with the team as is. Getting Love is icing on the cake. Very rarely have the Bulls' FO been in a situation like this.
  16. Cowley is a debbie downer on everything. The fact that he now believes this is a possibility probably means that it's a possibility.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 11:15 AM) Depends if you think athleticism as a wing is the only path to being a superstar. He could easily be an also ran with that same talent if the other aspects dont develop. Bunch of question marks in this deal as far as I am concerned, and I have NO idea how Bennett all of a sudden became valuable. I feel like Wiggins is going to be a very inefficient player his first few years. His jump shot is far too inconsistent. Playing with LeBron will help a lot, but if you put him on the T'Wolves, I don't think anybody should be expecting much in terms of efficiency. LeBron and KD both hovered around the .500 mark in terms of TS% their first year, so there's definitely an adjustment period, even for elite talent.
  18. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 11:01 AM) If you did this with Sox fans, they'd be b****ing about how the fake players weren't any good Pretty much lol. Although the fact that people like bulls***ting about things they don't know about is always funny.
  19. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 11:11 AM) So basically, no matter what comes out of the KLove situation, at this point the Bulls are securing some type of win. Yeah, something you don't see much of in Bulls' off-seasons. If we get him, great. If Cleveland pays handsomely, good. If Golden State gets him, even better. It's more or less a win-win.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 11:03 AM) Not only that, they'd be sending him to Minnesota (barf) At least he can play with Rubio.
  21. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 23, 2014 -> 10:09 AM) One that unfortunately falls well short of Wiggins. But I'm down for another hype train. Choo choo! IDK, does it? Mirotic could have been a top 5 pick this year. McDermott was the #11 and Taj is one of the better defensive players in the league. That's a lot of quantity over quality, but it just might be enough quantity to outweigh whatever promise Wiggins has.
  22. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 22, 2014 -> 04:42 PM) Cowley tweeting: "Bulls/Love rumors include Ozzie Guillén being sent to Minn as part of the deal. Guillén family is not happy. And, Don Cooper sucks"
  23. Real is stacked beyond belief. Ronaldo, Bale, James, Di Maria, Benzema. Something's gotta give. They can't play 5 attacking players.
  24. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 22, 2014 -> 04:32 PM) Dang, so for as bad as Gasol is defensively, he averaged 1.5 blocks/gm last year in limited minutes, Boozer had .3. That's the benefit of the added height even if defensively he's lost a step. Gasol stuffed Boozer like 3 times last year when the Bulls played the Lakers at the UC.
  25. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jul 22, 2014 -> 03:56 PM) That's because no org. is going to want to give up value for a #3 starter who is pitching like a #5. They want to buy low on him. You are being far too shortsighted if you think the start you saw a couple days ago is who Danks really is. If anything, I just think the Astros have Danks' number. He's been decent outside of the starts against Houston.
