QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 21, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) For tomorrow, $33 for the corner upper deck, $42 for the better upper deck, $55 for the outfield. (I know there are codes, but the average fan isn't aware of those. I really hope they don't do this kind of crap next year. It's really hurting our attendance against good teams, which isn't what we want.

Nice job by Rios and A.J.

Why is the attendance so low in these games? Are the tickets really that expensive? Stupid dynamic pricing...

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) ALEXEI! Hell of an at bat. And yes, Girardi should be blasted for keeping the LOOGY in there It's what happens when you use up all of your pitchers in the 5th and 6th. He can't put Robertson in because he has no idea how long this game might go.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 10:07 PM) 6th inning over at ten. f***ing Christ. This is what happens when you play the Yankees. They're patient and take walks. I wish we played like this. It's what scores you runs.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 10:05 PM) Nice post. You guys are crazy second guessing all this managerial stuff. At some point you blame the s***ty pitchers for not getting the job done. At least I do ... why blame the fricking manager? He's not throwing meat up there and walking TONS of hitters. The manager puts his players in a position to fail or succeed. When you put a player in a situation where he's not likely to succeed, you can't blame it all on the player.

QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 09:56 PM) The ex sox star players are preferred in this org. whether they are experienced enough or not. Its the Whitesox way. And Beckham finally comes up big. Martinez played for the Sox.

Beckham with the occasional home run!

Robin and his staff seriously needs to take a deeper look into splits and statistical analysis. Some of the decisions he's made are awful. This is why I advocated a guy like Dave Martinez during the off-season. Many here did. Guys from the Scoscia and Maddon school of coaching know what they're doing on the field. Robin's shown he is a great off the field manager, but his on the field tactics need A LOT of work. This is the same situation we were in with Ozzie earlier in his career, until Ozzie decided to not give a s*** and become a huge douche.

Now Veal throws a fastball...to a lefty. WTF?

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 09:47 PM) Granderson had no chance against Veal there. Too bad he didn't get to face Cano. I don't see what was so hard about this. Let Veal face Cano, walk Tex, then pitch to Granderson.
-
8/20 Yankees at White Sox
Veal is just filthy against lefties. If he gets the breaking ball over, they have no chance.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 20, 2012 -> 09:44 PM) Doesn't Coop make the pitching decisions? You have to think that both are involved, but Robin still has the final say. He's made some awful bullpen decisions lately and it's costing us.

Watch Robin pull Veal quickly.

Two batters too late.

Robin's still not going to pull him? Oh boy.
