  1. I think we win tonight. Only because nobody thinks we can.
  2. I bought an 128 GB OCZ Vortex 4 SSD for $80 today. Other than boot times, do any of you notice a great difference in performance with an SSD in comparison to a traditional hard drive?
  3. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) AJ's at bat was worse than Gordon's. Same with Viciedo. I had no expectations from Gordon, so I can't complain much. He stayed in that AB for a while and made it interesting.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:20 PM) Most definitely, the umpire might have cost the Sox two runs with the non 3rd strike to McLouth and the Reynolds ball 4. I was following on my phone and those pitches in the 6th definitely looked like strikes on Gameday.
  5. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) he should have acted like it hit his elbow and ran to first. The ball bounced so far away he couldn't have sold that.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) The hardest hit ball in that AB was the one off the knob of the bat. Johnson's not easy to hit against.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:17 PM) The only thing that Ventura could have been thinking is that he was more worried about Machado on deck than McLouth. However, thanks to shack's alarming stat, it seems like he was caught sleeping. If what you said is the case, that stupid walk to Reynolds may have lost us this game. The pitch he walked on was a strike to Alexei the inning before too.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:06 PM) I hate you for posting that. That could go down as Ventura's worst move of the year. This organization's lack of care for splits and stats is so damning.
  9. Baltimore is just one of those teams we have issues beating.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:01 PM) That PK at bat last inning was a killer Could have blown the game wide open. It totally screwed our rally instead. Oh well.
  11. QUOTE (Butter Parque @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:00 PM) If Thornton came in, you'd all b**** and complain about that Not if he's facing a lefty. Myers had also thrown to 5 batters. I was surprised he was kept in.
  12. I can't believe how we'e letting waiver wire pickups kick our ass today. Ford and McLouth have contributed to for all of their runs.
  13. lol this would be considered a game finished for Myers too.
  14. I was going to post how it was interesting Thornton wasn't brought in. Well...yeah.
  15. That's been a strike all game for the O's.
  16. Go f*** yourself Lew Ford.
  17. Leave Myers in for Ford.
  18. We need at least one more run with Thornton and Reed.
  19. I hate how slow this ump's strike call is. He's taking his sweet ass time on every pitch. His strike zone also sucks.
  20. Stupid channel just froze here in Champaign. Ugh.
  21. What's with Sox players shaking hands at the plate after a home run?
