  1. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ May 27, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) The Grizzlies didn't want to deal with the Bulls and the other option was Courtney Lee. And Asik is more valuable than him. There weren't many options unless you wanted Anthony Parker. I am beginning to think that Iman Shumpert will be drafted by the Bulls. He is blowing up right now so may not be there. Fathom where are you? Would he big a good fit w/ Rose? I like his size, length and athleticism. I'm just not confident in the front office's ability to pull off a big deal for a big name player. The last two big name players the Bulls signed (Wallace and Boozer) have turned out like crap and I don't even remember the last time the Bulls made a blockbuster trade (unless you somehow count the Salmons and Miller trade).
  2. Based on performance right now, it should be Danks. He has the worst peripherals out of all the starters. Humber's probably the best starter on the team right now, putting him in the bullpen isn't really an option. It has to be between Danks and Jackson. If you put Danks in the pen, you lessen your chance of retaining him. Jackson is the better pitcher right now, but you're most likely going to forget about him after this season anyhow. It really depends on how the front office views the outlook in the next few years. Personally, I think the 6 man rotation is working fine.
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:41 PM) Indians, Sox, and Tigers all have 30 quality starts. Indians 23-7 Tigers 20-10 Sox 18-12 Masterson and Tomlin are 18 for 19 in QS. That's not going to last, and that's why they'll come back to earth. Masterson is the real deal. He won't be as good as he has been, but he's got talent. Tomlin on the other hand...yeah he's a mirage.
  4. QUOTE (sircaffey @ May 27, 2011 -> 12:40 PM) Gar will do some big things. Like how he stood pat at the deadline when the team desperately needed a SG?
  5. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ May 27, 2011 -> 10:49 AM) If i was mega rich like that i would walk around in pajamas everywhere i go, to all the fanciest clubs and restaurants and all that, and id be throwing tacos from a taco bell 12-pack everywhere making it rain.
  6. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:54 PM) It's a lot worse for me. This is the most devastated I can ever remember feeling about a sports team. Really? I felt a lot worse when the Sox looked like they blew it in 08. I was so down those couple of days.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:52 PM) It seems like nobody is giving Dallas a chance. I don't get that. They have a better offensive supporting cast than we do and play good enough defense. I think it will be a fun series. Neither OKC or Dallas play that good of D.
  8. Good thing I don't watch ESPN, period.
  9. QUOTE (Real @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:28 PM) Spoelstra figured him out. Rose is a bad passer against teams like Miami who are elite at getting in the passing lanes. You can't count on 10 fingers how many times Rose threw the ball right to a Heat player this series. I think once he started doubting himself passing the ball it just had a trickle down effect that made him what we saw this series, a very average/below average PG Rose needs to clean up that part of his game, he turns the ball over A LOT For how much Rose had the ball this season and especially this postseason, his TOV% isn't terrible. Hell, Nash, Rondo, Kidd, Paul, LeBron, Parker all had higher TOV% than Rose this season.
  10. QUOTE (Real @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:26 PM) if you wanna see something hilarious check out the free throw disparity in this series, it's seriously so wide you can't honestly think there isn't something fishy going on with the NBA officiating This happens to the Heat all the time. Typical superstar treatment. Every team has to deal with it basically. What's surprising is that the god damn MVP couldn't get more free throws than freaking Chris Bosh.
  11. So Rose misses two huge FTs in the end of games that could have easily decided both. Ugh...I thought Derrick got over the whole missing huge free throws thing after he missed that FT against the Clippers. He just didn't seem like himself this series at all.
  12. At least it wasn't as bad as the Thunder's collapse in game 4...oh wait.
  13. Holy f*** what the hell?
  14. Jesus Christ...
  15. There's the MVP.
  16. Bulls NEED to get a score here.
  17. That was a really bad quick shot by Taj.
  18. QUOTE (G&T @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:00 PM) Does LeBron's? Would your answer change if he played for the Bulls? MJ's the greatest player of all time. I can remember many more players who are bigger douches than he was.
  19. Is the crowd saying f*** you?
  20. lol that's a foul?
  21. QUOTE (G&T @ May 26, 2011 -> 09:56 PM) I'm sure if you lived anywhere but Chicago in the 90's you'd have an answer. MJ's doucheness stood out more than his play?
  22. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ May 26, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) I think Brewer has as many (if not more) 3's this series than Korver. Brewer's a terrible 3 pt shooter, when he hell did he get the skills to shoot 3s lately?
  23. RONNIE BREWER!
  24. Slow it down, there's 5 minutes left and you have a 10 point lead.
