If they're not gonna get to Bundy, the Twins are gonna have their full bullpen to use today. You don't want to try to get runs off Fulmer, Duran, and Lopez. I don't care what happened on Friday. Those guys are way harder to score on than Bundy.

Nelson Cruz got a 1 year $14 million deal just last year and he was coming off a better season than Jose in 2020. First basemen over 35 usually don't get $20 million a year on the open market.

I think we're seeing Cease learning how to pitch. He's pitching to contact more early in games so he can cut down on his pitch count. He had 1 K through 5 today but ended up with 7. I don't think it's a coincidence that he's gone 8 and 9 innings the last 2 starts. Something has clicked with him recently and I think we're seeing the next phase of his evolution.

They really tried icing Cease by switching from one position player to another...
