  1. The Sox made this mistake last year and paid for it when Gavin has been bad for most of this year. I wouldn't let one Sheets hot streak dictate whether they get rid of Vaughn or Abreu. I also wouldn't let him get in the way of signing a left handed power hitting OFer.
  2. Yeah I'm not sure I remember press releases for managers missing one game.
  3. Yeah, I feel like this seems like a way for him to announce that he's stepping away for health reasons. He just met with the media and Hahn.
  4. I'm not sure how the Sox and Menechino saw what they did against Houston in the playoffs last year and thought, "yeah we just need to keep putting the ball in play weakly". I'm not saying every Sox hitter should try to pull the ball in the air cause not every hitter is suited for that, but it's clear that many of our hitters would benefit from that approach since their power is being sapped by the current approach.
  5. I hope Tony will be alright. But it makes you wonder if his age and medical conditions are going to take him out of managing. Maybe this can be an out for him and the Sox so he can step away.
  6. Tito's boys don't quit I swear the Guardians have had some crazy comebacks this year.
  7. The loss last night killed any will this team had left.
  8. You know, usually we're hoping Engel just stays healthy and he's been pretty productive the last few years when he's been able to stay on the field. He's miraculously been healthy this year, but he's been flat out bad.

Are we sure Tony is gonna stay awake during the game after the Sox probably got in at 3 in the morning today?

Wow, the Stranger Things make up department sure is great at their jo.... Wait, that's not Vecna?
  11. I wanna credit Luis for playing through it, but he's not helping anybody by doing that.
  12. I'm afraid that even if they end up winning 75 games, nothing will actually change.

    .452 BABIP, it ain't sustainable.
  14. Now you see why Liam wanted the 4th year.
  15. Or just injuring something in his body in general. It just looks so unnatural.
  16. I think I read that TLR checked in on Robert and said he was alright. How the hell is he alright when he swings without his fucking top hand?
  17. Not consistently at least. He honestly looks like someone who's never swung a baseball bat before.
  18. He was more worried about the non-existent railing than catching the damn ball.
  19. Yeah, I think this is the loss that finishes this team off. Engel's drop basically killed the last bit of hope for this team.
  20. They should just throw Bautista out there again if the O's don't walk it off here.
  21. You might as well just walk Santander.
  22. The dropped fly ball and the triple play. That's what's defined Engel's season this year.
  23. The Sox are gonna get in at 3 am tonight and play like zombies tomorrow. Not that they aren't already zombies in the first game of a series.
  24. Can we also get a fuck Jonathan Schopp for injuring Robert to begin with? I still think he deserves a fastball in the ribs this year.
  25. I think it's Mateo on 2nd. He'll definitely be stealing.
