Gallo was hitting in the middle of the lineup after they acquired him last year. Then he sucked a lot and got moved down.

At this time last year Rodon was throwing 90 MPH. At this point I'm just kind of convinced that he broke down last year cause it had been forever since he threw that many innings. I don't know how he'll take throwing 170+ innings and having to pitch in the postseason though.

His expected stats are also pretty good. Even better than his DIPS numbers. I wouldn't mind getting him, but he's gonna cost a decent amount. I feel like anybody that's not a pure rental will cost a lot prospect-wise if the Castillo trade is any indicator of where the market is.

Garcia is worth twice the amount of WAR Graveman has produced for about 1/3 of the salary. He's actually produced more than Kelly and Graveman combined this year.

This might be the first time we've been this close to the Twins since May. Also the Padres got Luis Garcia for 2 years and $7 million. He's throwing 101 MPH sinkers. That's a way better investment than Kelly or Graveman.

This was the 1st home series win for the Sox since June 22nd.

Manaea has been pitching like crap, the Padres are gonna need a few more runs to win that one.

It wasn't a pretty 2 wins, but with the team kinda struggling offensively, you'll gladly take 2 out of 3. Especially at home, where they've been god awful this year.

This team has been better in close games this year. That was one of the things we sucked at last year. A lot of it was cause of the 8th inning issues and TLR being a bad manager. Unfortunately the offense just hasn't been very good and we play a ton of these close games.

Unless we score a bunch here, Liam is probably gonna pitch and not be available tomorrow. That's the biggest problem with this team. Every game they're up in is close so they need their best relievers to pitch nearly everyday. It's hard to string together more than 2-3 wins that way.
