  1. I'm just talking about their stances. They even both got the bat wiggle and similar leg kick.
  2. He shot the 3 at 40% last year. A 10% drop is huge.
  3. Catchers already in mid-season form.
  4. Ed Howard looks awfully similar to TA at the plate.
  5. Not watching this game, how did Hendriks look?
  6. Cespedes destroyed that off-speed pitch.
  7. I'm curious to see what he gets. Tepera is a much better bet to stay healthy than Kelly. His stuff isn't as good, but the results are hard to argue against.
  8. That ball carried quite a bit too. Looked like a high pop up off the bat and almost made it to the track.
  9. Colas isn't as big as I thought he was from the videos I saw of him in Japan.
  10. Pollock is pretty cheap for the next 2 years, although he might opt out of his player option next year if he has another good season like 2021.
  11. This is how I see it too. If his trade value right now is just some bench players from LA, then I don't think he can lower his value that much more. You might as well hope he rebounds and deal him at the deadline.
  12. 70% LaVine was the best player on the team last night. He just doesn't look right when he jogs back on defense. Something just looks off.
  13. So does this guy have any cred? Or is he just building off what Cishek posted?
  14. We've been linked to Blackmon before right? Clearly, somebody likes him in the Sox FO. He has actually played decent defense in RF the past couple of years according to UZR. But OAA hates him and DRS sees him as average. But his bat outside of Coors is not ideal. He had a .811 OPS in Coors last year and a .700 OPS on the road. What's funny is that both end up to be around a 94 OPS+. That's how crazy the Coors effect is.
  15. He used to be able to rely on his 3 point shot against the bigger centers. He's been bricking everything this year, so when he can't get his points down low easily, he just disappears or chucks 5 3s, only to miss them all.
  16. Then we might as well just keep Kimbrel, in all honesty.
  17. Kimbrel in Colorado would be an absolute disaster if he doesn't fix the issues he had with his fastball.
  18. Blackmon has a player option too in 2023 for $18 million on top of the $22 million he's owed this year. That's worse than Myers.
  19. I'm saying if they wanted a guy of Myers' ability, they could have spent $6 million for it instead of $22 million. It would have made more sense for them to just sign Pederson and keep Kimbrel than to trade Kimbrel for Myers.
  20. Raimel Tapia, come on down!
  21. You can also get similar production from the other side of the plate for $6 million in Joc Pederson. Myers would be making a trade just for the sake of making a trade. Which Hahn literally said he should not do the other day.
