How is Robert still at 1st on that hit?

Yup, this team keeps getting hurt and guys have to try to get back into the swing of things every time. So they never develop a rhythm or timing at the plate.

He's had a pretty rough stretch of starts against good lineups. The only meh lineup he's faced the past 6 starts is the Rangers and they're not that bad. That doesn't excuse just how awful he's been though.

Gio also had some really bad starts last year prior to figuring it out in July. But I don't think his ERA ever got above 4.2. His ERA is in the 5s now and that was with a pretty solid start this year. He's basically replaced Keuchel in terms of production ever since we DFA'd Keuchel.

I'm not sure how they really measure sprint speed, but half our guys loaf it down to 1B so I wonder how much that affects their average sprint speed.

Is Abreu really down to 17? He was in the 40s last year.

The good: we won a series at home for the first time since April. We also took 3 of 6 against the Astros and Jays. Not too shabby. If you had told me we'd do that a week ago, I would have been very content. The bad: Lucas is cooked and we lost 2 players who are good defensively and have been contributing offensively.

Chapman is having the game of his life at 3B.

Lopez has been the 6th most valuable reliever in the AL this year according to fWAR. Pretty impressive.

Gio has been ass ever since Keuchel was DFA'd. Is that a coincidence?

Haha welp.

Get me over curve on 0-2...really?

Don't worry, Tanner Banks will cover a lot of this game with the way it's going.

I've been impressed. He'll go with the pitch and just flick it out for a hit.

I swear Pollock tries to throw the ball past the catcher almost every chance he gets.

That Chapman double had a .170 xBA. Haseley probably catches that one.

Sheets probably comes back up lol

He's not even averaging 93 on his fastball. His annual average is around 93.

His range is bad in the OF.

Pollock almost got hurt there.

Just don't hit the ball to 3B lol

Unfortunately he might stay up here if Engel is hurt.

It's just hilarious that we see the Jays guys bust it almost every time the ball is in play while our guys get hurt just running to first base.

We finally get back to .500 and the injuries come back.

Did Engel just hurt his knee running down to 1st?
