  1. Let's see how Dallas looks 2nd time around the Indians middle of the order.
  2. McKenzie seems to get a lot of weak contact and swings and misses on his fastball despite poor spin rate and mediocre velocity. Is that just because he gets good extension on his pitches with his lanky arms?
  3. Tim got beat on 92 upstairs on a fastball count. Can't be doing that.
  4. A lot of the scouting reports I read on Seby did say he might run into 10 homers a year if he got a backup C job. There's 1.
  5. We're complaining that we have Zavala in the 9 spot. Cleveland looks like they have 3 Zavalas at the bottom of their order.
  6. Straw is a really good defender in CF who looks like he can get on base alright. I still don't know why Houston traded him for Maton.
  7. I've noticed that he's using the slider more tonight. We'll see how Cleveland adjusts the 2nd time around.
  8. Keep him out of CF and he'll be fine.
  9. I've been saying it since the KC series, Goodwin's had some good at bats despite the results.
  10. We've hit two liners right at Mercado.
  11. Odd, his approach literally screams leadoff man.
  12. The frustrating thing is that he keeps taking the bait. It's just like how Jose can't lay off the outside slider.
  13. Dallas always gets into trouble when his cutter doesn't get in enough on righties. He left that one just over the plate enough for Ramirez to pull it fair.
  14. Ramirez probably could have gotten to third on that. It was in that corner forever. Vaughn was also playing far from the line.
  15. Is it really that low? That's actually kind of crazy. No wonder pitchers just try to jam him inside.
  16. Nice PA for Jose.
  17. McKenzie's fastball looks pretty good. He was in the low 90s earlier in the year against us.
  18. McKenzie has to be the skinniest player in baseball right?
  19. Dallas had everything working in the first.
  20. I'm not looking forward to Keuchel facing Ramirez and Reyes. Need to keep the first few guys in the lineup off base.
  21. Seriously fuck Karinchak, I don't give a shit how he feels.
  22. Honestly baseball fans just love to hate on La Russa. Some of it is probably deserved, but what he did last night was a breath of fresh air. Had he done nothing, I'm sure the same critics saying he shouldn't have gotten so mad over an accident would have been criticizing him for not standing up for his player. It's hard for him to win either way in the court of public opinion when most people have their mind made up already. I still don't get what Tony is doing half the time with his some of his on-field decisions, but I think he won a lot of Sox fans over with what he did last night.
  23. Are you saying you want them to bunt with the bases loaded and nobody out?
