Robert hit that grounder at 108 MPH. Really speaks to how important shifting is.

Yoan gonna have to hit righty

Shift saved the Red Sox

The bat definitely is.

If you would have told me the Sox would score 4 off Houck and chase him in the 4th, I would have guessed we would score 8 runs in the game.

Our inability to score add on runs is frustrating. The Red Sox aren't really throwing their best guys out from their bullpen and we're not doing much against them.

Throw the curve and good things happen.

Why would you go fastball there again? Throw the power curve.

0-2 to a walk. His fastball command is gone again.

Good thing Craig found the fastball command after 3-1.

Not even an appeal on that check swing?

It's the 8th inning and Kimbrel is facing his old team. There's no way it'll be drama-less.

Grandal missed that one too. Ottavino has no control tonight and we're not doing shit.

Crazy that Reyes is probably a better hitter than Eloy at this point.

Eloy is in a funk. He's gotten caught looking at 2 fastballs down the middle tonight.

Eloy got a back up slider and missed it.

We missed our chance to score on the bad parts of their pen. Ottavino is in now.

Wait, Ryan Burr and Ruiz aren't a back up plan?

Bummer and Crochet both came up big.

If Crochet has to pitch to Renfoe, it's not gonna be pretty.

As they should, this inning is the way it is cause of him.

The one time they hit the ball hard all inning, it was pretty much a double play. Baseball.

Cesar...come on.

4 runs won't do it.
