  1. I see Y2HH's point, it is a good thing to change your mind when presented with new facts, but Romney flips back and forth on the same subject. Romney is against it today, next week he'll be for part of it, the week after he's against all of it again and by the end of that week he'll be for all of it again. Romney has no principles, that's why he won't give us details, it'll take too long according to him as his empty suit running mate.
  2. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 4, 2012 -> 11:17 AM) Welcome to politics...you appear to be new here since you stated the obvious. I still think it shows that they're ok with changing their minds, it's not like people aren't taking notice and these flip-flopped positions aren't well documented and mentioned in the media 500 million times a day. What do you call it when Romney implemented Romneycare in MA, then he was against it in the primaries, then he said he would repeal all of Obamacare, then he said he wouldn't repeal all of it then he said last night he would repeal all of it? I don't know about you but I call that a bulls***ter who will tell that particular audience what it wants to hear or do you think Romney finds out something new about Obamacare that makes him change his mind back and forth? I bet he'll say he won't repeal all of Obamacare in his next interview, SMH.
  3. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Oct 3, 2012 -> 09:34 PM) Good, Romney wins first debate. Even NBC has reluctantly conceded that point. I thought you didn't like Romney? That he was a Democrat on top of the GOP ticket? So you like him or you don't?
  4. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 4, 2012 -> 02:04 AM) Obama looked defensive, frustrated, unsure. Romney was aggressive, clear and was providing details about how his policies are gonna help this country. This is what I saw. Not a good showing by Obama at all, but I'm sure Romney had some practice during the Republican debates. Romney said he'd create 12 million new jobs, give me the details on how he is going to create those jobs because I somehow missed that part... The only thing I learned last night is that flip flop Romney is really really good at bulls***ting and that he really cares about the working poor (even though he loved firing them when he worked for Bain and he told rich supporters behind closed doors that he didn't give a f**k about them, the 47% moochers).
  5. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) This photo ID business really bothers me. I don't mind that you have to prove who you are, but there are other ways in which you can do that. This is a problem for a very specific group of people and reeks of our past history of suppressing the vote of the poor and minorities. We still love suppressing the rights of anyone that isn't perfect. Can't afford a photo ID? f*** you, no vote Gay? f*** you, no marriage Repubs really are shameless. They can try to take away people's right to vote all they want, they are still gonna have their asses handed to them on Nov. 6th
  6. Was it over when the French bombed the Alamo? No!! We are in it until the magic number hits 0! Adele is clearing her throat but it ain't over 'til it's over! Let's close it out in boss style
  7. If the Sox would've played .500 ball vs Detroit and KC, they'd be up at least a half dozen or so games right now instead of being tied for first, it's that simple.
  8. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 10:41 AM) I wish other teams were more biased. Then it would be More interesting to listen to the opposing teams' broadcasts. Hawk also is the only one that really rips the umps. Lol. I used to love listening to Santos's radio broadcast when cuBS were losing in the playoffs. Hawk is a better homer than Santo was. Lol. Lol!
  9. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 11:59 AM) This is a pretty moronic statement. You say the Packers deserve to be f***ed over by the officials because of a previous bad call by the officials in a game the Packers were not even playing in? That might be the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile. Also, the Packers would have put up more points if the interception they had deep in Seahawks territory would have not been called back on a bulls*** roughing the passer call. All in all, this game sucked. No team deserves to have a win taken from them like that. Yup, he mad
  10. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 11:21 AM) How are they deserving of that? Because I hate them And like the article says, they got in the playoffs on a bad call in a Bucs/Lions game. They didn't b**** back then, don't b**** now...also, blame your offense more for not putting up more points.
  11. It couldn't happen to a more deserving team...f*ck the Packers
  12. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 10:38 AM) It should be noted that the 2005 ALDS was a national broadcast being called by a Red Sox groupie. I didn't know Boomer was a member of Red Sox Nation, now I know why he was so biased for them. I bought the White Sox complete playoffs and WS DVD box set and I hate listening to Berman calling those games. He almost ruins it for me.
  13. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 10:29 AM) He gets a lot of crap, but I like Buck as well. For a White Sox game, though, I'd rather listen to Hawk. I wish Hawk had at least called game 4 of the WS, we all would've been crying tears of joy at the end of that game.
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 10:25 AM) People complained Joe Buck wasn't excited enough when the White Sox won the WS. I don't get people who complain about homerism, one of the memorable calls in broadcast history was the "do you believe in miracles?" call by Al Micheals and that was totally a homer call, just ask the Russians. NBC goes full on homer in the Olympics...
  15. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 10:24 AM) FOX broadcasts are terrible, though. I love listening to Joe Buck, McCarver however is turrible (imo).
  16. I'm cancelling my subscription to the WSJ effective immediately...
  17. Sox win 2 of 3 vs the Tribe at the Cell, split against the Rays and finish the season winning 2 of 3 at Cleveland. Kittens take 3 of 4 at home vs Royals, lose 2 of 3 at Minny and get swept at KC. ChiSox 87-75 Kittens 84-78 Post your predictions
  18. I saw the 49ers Vikings score and literally did a doubletake.
  19. Tallest midget contest the next 10 games!
  20. Gotta love those pesky Twins!!
  21. xtra innings,1-1...GO TWINS!!!
  22. At some point, the Sox gotta win a game or two...
