  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 02:15 PM) I think Joakim Noah being 100% is much more important than f***ing Rip Hamilton. .............yes.............
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 09:51 AM) I think Ricky Rubio's goal is to shoot less than 30% on the season. Yikes. He makes Rondo look like Ray Allen, he's horrible.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 08:23 AM) Who? I must see this post and ridicule said person. This I've never seen anyone here say Noah=Howard, much less better than him. Only argument I've heard is them being reluctant to break up the team for a doofus that has no interest playing for Chicago. Getting back to the original point, is Noah a top center? You bet your ass he is.
  4. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 09:50 PM) Fair enough. Misread the "a" as "the", which clearly wasn't the case. Although I think posting the numbers between the two still stands, since there are a few people that come to this thread that think Noah is better than Dwight (or at least on the same level, which is farrrr from the case). yeah right...
  5. I almost had a heart attack, looks like DRose will be alright.
  6. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 05:44 PM) This thread is good for at least one two/three page derail a day. It's awful. I don't understand the fact that you think this thread sucks, yet you come here a lot. Not trying to start anything with you but you complain about the quality of content yet keep coming back? There are threads here at ST I really don't care for therefore I avoid them, I don't go in them and complain how terrible they are...I don't get it.
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) Thank you for your honesty. No prob, I just want to add that I was a Bulls fan as a little kid back when Reggie Theus was the man in the early 80's...yeah, I'm getting up there in age
  8. J4L is right about something, the Bulls were hugely popular worldwide while they were killing and then nobody but the most hardcore fans followed them after MJ, Pip, Rodman and Jackson left. I was pissed at the way the Bulls organization broke up that team and Krause was eager to rebuild starting with Floyd (ugh)...I honestly ignored them until the Kirk, Ben Gordon, Nocioni era out of anger and because they sucked.
  9. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 12:45 PM) This, and your constant jabs at the team makes me question how much you follow the team, and how loyal of a a fan you are. I sometimes think he was a bigger fan of Jordan than an actual Bulls fan.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 28, 2012 -> 04:12 PM) BULLS VS THE VAUNTED HORNETS TONIGHT I AM EXCITE FOR ANOTHER 30 POINT LEAD IN THE SECOND QUARTER GO BULLS JIZZ I'm actually excited to see this Gustavo Ayon cat, he's Mexican, just like me!
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 28, 2012 -> 11:38 AM) Teddy Greenstein ‏ @TeddyGreenstein Thibs says Rip is a gametime decision: "He looks great in practice, but there’s a huge difference between the game and practice." #bulls Don't want to see Rip until he is positively 100% healthy.
  12. I know Balta already posted the link but this is a very interesting read...yes it's a meaningless game but how could you not want to take the last shot?
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 27, 2012 -> 09:30 AM) I love that the All-Star Game is going to mess with LeBron's head even further. The only thing that can stop the Heat this year is LeBron. This is where a year of college ball would have helped him. He'd have had to fall in line with a respected coach on a huge stage. Instead, he goes straight from ESPN-televised high school games where he gets phellated relentlessly to an awful Cavs team where he got phellated relentelessly and everyone considered him the savior. LBJ has had everything handed to him his entire life. Yes, he's an amazing talent and yes he's a monster in the weight room. I don't want to minimalize the work he has put in to become the best pure talent in NBA history. However, his mind is weak. That might be something that never gets turned around... hell, even Carmelo Anthony, in the midst of his worst stretch ever, was giving LBJ s*** about not wanting that shot. At some point we got to feel bad for LBJ... No, not really, ha! With all the media now relentlessly focusing on LBJ's percieved lack of clutchness, no one is gonna give a cra p what LBJ does until he plays big in the finals moments of the Finals, you know that's gonna be messing with his pysche, lol.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 27, 2012 -> 09:06 AM) http://dailyherald.com/article/20120226/sports/702269784/ I know this is redundant now. But who cares. Imrem nailed it. Do it. ...and not a single f*** was given that day since it's not going to happen.
  15. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 05:57 PM) I agree. What's Rose doing there? hater!
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 03:22 PM) Somebody in that group just doesn't belong. I'm just gonna pretend I didn't see this post...
  17. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 24, 2012 -> 05:12 PM) I doubt you watched Grossman play more than 1 game in College, so please just stick to the NBA. Because your argument is lunacy, no one thought Grossman was going to be any good, thats why after his Sophomore year he was projected to be a top 10 pick and after his Junior year he was drafted in the first round. But yes, no one thought a player with a solid 1st round grade would be any good. Here is the SI rating from 2003: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...ayers/7323.html Grade: 4.15 4.99 to 4.10 -- Quality Prospect -- Someone that consistently gives good performances. Occasional Pro-Bowl appearances. This is why Grossman is a bust. Lin can never be a bust, he wasnt drafted. Just being a back up PG would be a major accomplishment when you take into consideration he wasn't even offered a scholarship and went undrafted.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 24, 2012 -> 05:02 PM) No, I see everything fine. You're the clueless one. This Jeremy Lin crap has been blown up to the point that he can't go back to being a nobody. And it's not just ESPN. This s*** is everywhere. Nba.com, si.com, sportstalk radio, u.s.a. today. He's already been on the cover of si TWICE! In three f***ing weeks. It doesn't matter that he wasn't an all-american in college. Once he comes back down to earth, it will be no different than a highly touted rookie that failed to live up to expectations. And lol@anybody thinking Rex was that good. Nobody thought that. If Lin becomes a 12/7 PG, a lot of people will be disappointed and it's not even his fault.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 24, 2012 -> 03:59 AM) Wait a minute. You watched last night's game and feel MORE confident against the Heat? lol. Whatever. I gotta agree with J4L, that game depressed me, the Heat may not only be better offensively but defensively as well, yeah it was the Knicks but they looked like they were just toying with them. Goddamn the Heat have too many weapons.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 02:18 PM) LeBron should be able to shut down Rose. What the Bulls have to do is make an adjustment and have whoever Chalmers is guarding beat them. That is where Hamilton comes in. Chalmers is not a bad defender but they can go Wade, LBJ and Battier on the floor to protect the perrimeter...this is where having a low post player would've helped.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 02:14 PM) I mean, come on, he's a dude who is as fast as Rose but 6 inches taller and probably has at least 50 pounds on Rose. That makes s*** rough. The others guys need to step up when DRose draws LBJ.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 10:00 AM) Here's my biggest problem right now. 5 games in a row, between the Bulls and heat, it's come down to the final minute or two, and 5 games in a row the Heat have taken care of business...and it's mostly been the same way, cranking up the defense and saying "You're done scoring" while they put together a couple buckets, sometimes on miracle shots, themselves. 5 games in a row is starting to convince me that this formula will simply work on the Bulls too often. Keep the game close, beat up Rose some, and when it gets to the last 5 minutes, put Lebron on Rose and say that's it. Well if Rose wouldn't have missed both his FT in the waning moments of that last game, we wouldn't be talking about a 5 game losing streak...it was there for the taking. At Miami without Deng and Watson too.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 23, 2012 -> 09:08 AM) Your posts in absolute are why we continue to bring up the Knicks. lol You guys are never gonna let J4L live that down. I also think the Bulls if healthy can hang with Miami but if I were a betting man, my money is on Miami to come out of the East, the Big 3 are just too much to handle. Chicago would need Rose to play much better than last year's ECF, that could happen IF he's healthy, Boozer needs to match what Bosh produces to nullify him, we would need to have Wade have another subpar performance (Bulls D has given him fits recently), Rip and Noah have to produce and KK needs to hit his threes to loosen up their D.Those are too many ifs. We know LBJ is gonna beast, Deng isn't stopping him...the Bulls have a legit shot but they need to up their game if they want to beat Miami. Right now I would say Miami in 6 or 7 but wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls do pull it off.
  24. QUOTE (kev211 @ Feb 22, 2012 -> 08:49 PM) I love Noah. love him This is the Noah that was missing in last year's ECF, if Noah plays like this, no one on Miami frontcourt can f*** with him. Please stay healthy
  25. Lin with a nice game, I don't know why the Knicks just don't rest him in the 4th, they're up big and they'll need him to log heavy minutes tomorrow night at Miami.
