2011-2012 NBA Season Thread
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 02:26 AM) As a basketball fan, this is something that I should know. But reading this shocked the s*** out of me. Only three f***ing teams from the west have seen the finals since 23 shoved Byron Russell out of the way for #6. That is f***ing mind-boggling. He did no such thing, how dare you

2011-2012 NBA Season Thread
Obviously the Western Conference was better this year as in recent years but the Eastern Conference was destroyed by injuries, Horford, Howard, Rose, Bosh, Knicks and half of the Celtics. For some damn reason, the West really hasn't been hit hard other than Billups. OKC has made a believer out of me, I thought there youth would be a weakness vs SAS but that hasn't been the case.

Maybe LeBron doesn't want to get fouled and have to make late game FTs?

SA was due for a bad game...still think they win in 5 or 6 max.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 31, 2012 -> 09:22 AM) Personally I'd go with Miami getting screwed and losing to Boston and then Boston getting swept in the finals, but your way works too. just makes me more nervous to have them get NBA-finals close again. I think it would be funnier if the Heat get to the Finals back to back and have nothing to show for it. I have no doubt in my mind that SA is gonna win the NBA title this year, they are absolutly locked on and a flawed team like Miami isn't beating them (with or without Bosh)...unless the refs help them out.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 24, 2012 -> 10:08 PM) The Pacers totally took Roy Hibbert out of this series after game 3. That was the only advantage they (Pacers) had. Heat have 4 days off now. Fixed Indy didn't even look to go inside during huge stretches these last few games, instead they were chucking up horrible shots. They could've beaten Miami if they played smarter. Unfortunatly for Miami, San Antonio won't make that same mistake, now that's a smart team led by easily the best basketball head coach in the NBA.

You know the Eastern Conference sucks when the 76ers are a game away from the EC Finals. I thought Boston might give Miami trouble but they can't even put away a garbage Philly team...then again, it comes down to match ups and Bosh won't be anywhere near 100%.

It must be said - Hawk Harrelson has to go
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 23, 2012 -> 10:11 AM) You need someone talking when the team is going bad? Do you need Vin Scully telling you Alexei Ramirez was Batman for Halloween when he was 8 years old? Hawk is a television announcer., not a radio guy. Everytime the Sox are on network TV, people are complaining about the announcers. There really isn't anyone everyone would be happy with. I know Vin Scully is revered but personally, I can't stand the constant yapping.

I don't mind Hawk, he can be annoying sometimes but I see him as that old cranky White Sox fan uncle I wish I had...good for a laugh or two during games. We can do better but we could also do much worse. How about making a poll on this question?

The Spurs have really had OKC's number over the last couple of seasons, granted it's regular season games but I think the Spurs advance to the Finals. If both Miami and San Antonio meet in the Finals, it'll be athleticism vs fundamentals basketball, it'll be fun to watch. Pop>>>>Spo/Riley

This may explain why Wade has stunk recently. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/201...f-his-problems/ If it's serious, stick a fork in the Heat...they done.

2011-2012 NBA Season Thread
If Indy can win tonight, might the Heat start to crack? Let Wade and Bron get theirs and shut the role players down and hope Indy can score more than those 2. Spo gonna play them heavy minutes without Bosh in the lineup...they will be worn down by the end of the game.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 13, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) Actually thought the Pacers had a chance there in the 4th. MVP/Wade just took over. Same problems for the Pacers as last year, can't close out teams without a legit go to guy. I'm seeing that Bosh might be out for a while according to Hollinger, that could be a death blow to the Heat's chances...it would be 2 v 5 and the Indy bigs will maul the Heat's already suck ass FC.

Ground Up Human Baby Pills
QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 7, 2012 -> 05:20 PM) That's f***ing sick, and if it's true, January Jones is an idiot...then again, a lot of hollywood types are...such as that one that chews her babys food for them, then feeds them? I forget who this is/was, but apparently she still does it. I find this type of behavior to be childish, though I'm sure it gets dismissed as eccentric. It was Alicia Silverstone who fed her baby that way.
