Manziel might be worse than Tebow Kinda shows you the huge gap (no surprise) between the NFL and college football Makes my wonder why are a lot of people fans of crappy level football -
Not to mention the upgrade in coaching, a guy who learned under Wilkins, PJax and Pop...mama, there goes that man!

Even the most ardent Cutler critic like Jenks wants to be proven wrong, as Bears fans we would love to see Jay succeed, but after so many years of mediocre play coupled with that ridiculous contract, we're fed up. Hopefully, this coaching staff is on the way out, we're stuck with Jay, maybe he won't be so terrible with a coaching staff that isn't way in over their heads now that he has weapons. In the past, we've had OCs that were competant, just didn't have the talent, now the Bears have the talent but the coaching staff are a bunch of mental midgets. I'm STILL willing to give Jay a chance to prove us all wrong, even though the odds that he's anything other than a physically gifted but low football IQ, turnover prone, fundamentally unsound QB are very low at this point of his career. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 12, 2014 -> 01:10 PM) Yup. A couple of zingers by the Saints and Lions and that could cap it off These are the final scores I'm hoping for... Saints 45 Bears 17 Lions 37 Bears 13 That should do it -
I hate to defend Melo because I'm not a fan of his game but really, who here would leave $70 million on the table? I know it'd be hard for me to do that if I were in his shoes, especially considering that the team I'd be joining has a superstar that can't stay healthy and might never be the same player he was. Other than that, yeah Lol @ the Knicks

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 8, 2014 -> 12:53 PM) @TyDunne: Mark Murphy believes Favre is heading back south after today's event. No plans on attending the game” False alarm everyone. We will have to wait for a proper reunion. Oh do keep us informed, us Bears fans really care... -

Good Lord, I want Trestman and his entire coaching staff fired. Unfortunately we're stuck with Cutler but maybe he won't be so terrible with a HC who isn't retarded. Please let it be Jim Harbaugh -
Almost unbelievable how well this team was built after being shot down by Melo over the summer. This team is better for NOT landing Melo. Not enough credit is given to the Bulls FO in my opinion. A healthy Bulls team is easily the best East team and a legit title contender.

I'm not on Jenksismyb*tch level of Cutler hate, I don't even hate the guy, I really want to like him but he has just not delivered so far. And it's not even a question of him lacking the tools to be successful, and that's what kills me about him. He's a very physically talented QB, it's the mental aspect (has a tendency to look rattled, which leads to many of his bad decisions) that holds him back. At this point of his career, he is what he is, a QB that could look elite one game and absolutely terrible the next, and he is turnover prone and he'll most likely always be. -

Two teams fighting for first place in the NFC East led by QBs of Mexican ancestary, I bet they're making kind of a big deal about that south of the border among NFL fans... -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 27, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) Add another giveaway to the league leader in turnovers Not too long ago, Cutler's apologists always came to his defense, blaming everyone but Cutler. I wonder what happened to them... -

Cutler is just a massively overpaid mediocre QB, has all the physical tools but is a fundamentally flawed low football IQ QB. It is what it is. -

Looks like we won't break 30 this game either, unbelievable for a team with this many offensive weapons. I mention this because I saw a stat on ESPN where they mentioned that the Bears are one of 5 NFL teams that haven't scored more than 30 pts in a game...and the offense was supossed to carry this team with offensive guru Trestman at the helm, SMH. -

QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 27, 2014 -> 01:59 PM) Truly awful "roughing the passer" call. Grabbed him by the jersey Yeah, there was absolutely nothing dirty about Young's sack. Might as well just put flags on QBs, apparently you can't even touch them anymore. -

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 26, 2014 -> 11:59 AM) http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/...ort-since-july/ If true what a jerk after the Bengals had a ceremony for his daughter earlier this year.Gloria Allred, GOAT shakedown artist. If he hasn't paid child support, why doesn't the mother just sue his deadbeat ass so they can garnish his wages? Something smells fishy, she probably wants a bigger payday. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 26, 2014 -> 10:58 AM) Thibs is probably right. I think the key is we push him so that he can build stamina, etc, but in a smart manner. On the 2nd of a back to back, given the limited minutes he played, I don't have a problem pulling him, but Rose needs to play and practice relatively consistently. Minute limits and ocassional day offs will still be critical though. I think some of these issues are matters he has to work through, but it has to be in conjunction with the trainers, etc. The key is whether this is good soreness related to coming back and building stamina, etc, or if this is him actually continually reinjuring himself. It should also be noted that Wilbon indicated most good doctors would have expected him to have some ankle / hamstring / lower leg injuries during his return as you adjust your stride, etc, and potentially overcompensate from the previous injuries (due to mental concern). Typically, you eventually adjust back and slowly feel more comfortable. As fans, it is important to be patient. +1000 It's hard to be patient because this is potentially the best Bulls team since the MJ era but keep in mind Chris Paul took about two years to regain his old self after his knee injury, DR1 has had TWO.
