QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2015 -> 09:04 PM) Putting up points makes him look good, not trying on defense makes Blatt look bad. He hasn't been trying on defense for a couple of seasons now...elite defenders (which is what LeBron is supposed to be) don't give up Finals MVPs to their defensive covers. And it wasn't like Leonard was a top 10 player at that point either. LeBron is overrated on D, IMO.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 14, 2015 -> 01:34 PM) Chill out dude. The Bulls aren't the lock you think they would be as well. The Cavs will be in the thick and thin of the road to ECF with a healthy Lebron. No they won't. A healthy LeBron can't change the fact that the Cavs have weak bigs, a healthy LeBron won't help Kyrie and KLove not suck on defense, a healthy LeBron can't change the fact that the East top teams are actually good this year...

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 14, 2015 -> 12:08 AM) So.....Cleveland is under .500 almost half-way through the season. But they are going to the ECFs! I don't look like quite the idiot now when I kept saying during the summer that they wouldn't be that good this year

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 12, 2015 -> 04:34 PM) Why is it that everyone who disagrees with you here is laughing at and hating on the Cowboys? Nobody is saying anything other than they don't think it is a catch based on the rule that th NFL has instituted. Nobody is laughing, nobody is reveling in it. I also think Dez did make the catch (I agree with Chilihead that Dez controls the ball midair and makes a football move stretching for the end zone) but according to that stupid rule he did not. Hopefully they review that rule in the offseason. -

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 12, 2015 -> 09:00 AM) Packers have done fine in the playoffs. It's tough to win in the playoffs. Every team has ugly playoffs losses. The key is to make it as much as possible to give yourself more chances. That being said, I have no idea how the Packers win in Seattle. It's gonna take a perfect game. If Rodgers was completely healthy, they'd have a legit shot, gimpy I just don't see it. You know Seattle is gonna bring the pressure. -

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 12, 2015 -> 08:09 AM) If gimpy Rodgers beats the Seahawks in Seattle, he will go from god status to omnipotent deity status. You bet, even as a die hard Bears fan, I can't hate the guy, he's just so stupid good. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 12, 2015 -> 07:48 AM) I remember when the call was reversed on Megatron i said "I will take it", but felt very guilty in saying so. True, that was a TD catch. You know that if the roles were reversed and it was Jordy Nelson instead of Dez Bryant, Packers fans would be the ones b****ing and moaning this morning... -

QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jan 12, 2015 -> 06:26 AM) People act like the cowboys win that game if the dez catch stands. There is no doubt in my mind rodgers leads the packers to a winning score once they got the ball back at the end of the game. The Cowboys couldn't stop him in the late 3rd and 4th quarters. If the call is never reversed, chances are pretty good the Cowboys take the lead there, then I agree that there's a good chance Rodgers leads them to a scoring drive BUT you also have to take into account that a lot of unforeseeable things that are out of Rodgers control can happen such as a fumble by the Pack's KRer, a fumble by Lacy or Dallas strips the ball from a Packers player, etc etc. Just a crappy way to end a great game... -
Cavs coach pretty much agreeing with me in that KLove is an overrated stat padder, lol. http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2015/01/...max-player-yet/ People here still think this Cavs team is a lock to make the ECFs?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 11, 2015 -> 07:53 PM) @BleacherReport: Report: Kevin Love expected to opt out of current deal and is unlikely to sign long term" and then watch Wiggins become a legit star, ROFL It's the Cavs so I totally expect that to happen

That the Cowboys could've done a much better job of pressuring Rodgers notwithstanding, huge props to ARodg, even as a Bears fan, can't hate a dude that good. Sucks so bad that even a one legged Rodgers > Cutler -

The Cowboys didn't blitz Rodgers enough, they let him slip and slide on a gimpy leg ad make throws. I'm betting the Seahawks won't be that stupid. Either way, the Cowboys or Packers aren't beating Seattle. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 11, 2015 -> 02:58 PM) No it isn't there's one shot where you can see the ball move loose upwards as a consequence of hitting the ground. Overturn was correct. His hand was under the ball when both his hand and the ball hit the ground and he quickly recovered it. Not enough to overturn the original call, refs affected the result of this game. -

Stupid playcalling by the Cowboys there, 3rd and short and they didn't go to their bread and butter, and it's not like the Pack were stopping the Dallas running game. -

Wow, if Rodgers gets the Packers past this game, my respect for Rodgers will go through the roof. He's just not putting any pressure on that calf muscle. The Pack need to run though -

If I'm the Cowboys, I pressure Rodgers out of the pocket and force him to move on that calf muscle. He's clearly not right today. -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 10, 2015 -> 11:49 PM) Read somewhere that Gasol is the oldest player ever to record at least 45 points and 15 rebounds in the same game. I'm as pessimistic when it comes to the Bulls as anyone alive. But the Gasol signing is easily the best non-LeBron back to Cleveland move of last off-season. NOBODY thought/knew he had this much left at age 34.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 9, 2015 -> 05:15 PM) Meh, I'm not at the point where I'll just forgive Brandon Marshall for beating on his woman. Sorry, take all the pills you want, that's still you. As far as I am aware AJ and Rodman did not pound women. White knight alert I am disappoint -
QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 9, 2015 -> 12:37 PM) So Wiggins is starting to turn it on. Over the last 30 days, he's basically averaging 18-5-2 on 46% shooting with 1.3 threes and .6 blocks (yes, I play fantasy). He's scored at least 20 in 7 of his last 8 games. He kind of needs to carry this draft class since everyone else is hurt. Cavs fans are gonna hate that Wiggins/KLove trade sooner rather than later.
