  1. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 16, 2014 -> 05:12 PM) Meatheads on Bears blog calling for Rex Ryan. You know, because he's the son of our last superbowl DC. As Bears fans know, you always want to put the family of any legendary bears coach/player in charge. Always works out.Jim Harbaugh is a former Bears QB doe, he wasn't a legendary player but he was decent
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 16, 2014 -> 04:30 PM) Guys, it is all setting up for the next coach of the Bears to be.... Mike Singletary.I love me some Samurai Mike but for HC, no thanks.
  3. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 16, 2014 -> 03:06 PM) Trade for HarbaughI know all the reports out there are saying Harbaugh is on the way out but are the 49ers really that stupid to let him go? They were a mess when he got there and quickly made them a Super Bowl contender. They can't be that dumb, can they?
  4. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 16, 2014 -> 10:26 AM) Stupid teams that will convince themselves that the Bears organization was the problem, not Cutler. My dream is that everyone from Emery, the coaches, Cutler, nearly everyone on defense, etc. are gone. But this is the Bears guys. Kromer will get canned. Tucker will get canned. And that's it. They'll keep singing the praises of the future and potential and progress and Bear Down and Ditka and blah blah and we'll accept our typical .500 or worse, no playoff season as we have for nearly ever season for the last 40 years. I think it's 50/50. I would not be surprised if Cutler were successful on another team if the Bears do move him. This organization just does not groom quality QBs for whatever reason. I'm even of the opinion that had the Bears drafted Rodgers, they would've ruined him and he'd probably be out of the league right now, lol.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 16, 2014 -> 09:08 AM) People watched the Bears last night? Why?I watched the pregame, caught the first few possessions where the Bears and Saints turned over the ball and literally fell asleep until there was about a minute left in the game, true story. I saw the ESPN guys rip into Jay so I knew he stunk up the joint and I was the least bit surprised. Jay isn't this bad, he's checked out mentally from this club, a change would be best for the Bears and also for him at this point, too.
  6. It's not all on Jay though, he's part of it with his s***ty play but this is organizational dysfunction. I wish we could get rid of Ted Phillips on down. This is the lowest I've ever felt as a Bears fan. I wanted to buy my 4 year old son some Bears apparel for Christmas (he still doesn't care about football) My wife jokingly tells me to let him grow up a Packers fan and I'm seriously considering it at this point. f*** being a fan of a s*** franchise.
  7. Jay getting took to the woodshed by the ESPN guys. Ray is an idiot though.
  8. I hate to be the Kobe circlejerk party pooper guy but we need to point out that along with passing up MJ, he keeps adding to the most career missed FGs in NBA history record, which by the looks of it, will be his for a while. Let's be honest, Kobe has done his fair share of chucking, sometimes at the expense of his team.
  9. That could be a costly loss for GB, they ain't beating the Seahawks in Seattle.
  10. Manziel might be worse than Tebow Kinda shows you the huge gap (no surprise) between the NFL and college football Makes my wonder why are a lot of people fans of crappy level football
  11. Not to mention the upgrade in coaching, a guy who learned under Wilkins, PJax and Pop...mama, there goes that man!
  12. Even the most ardent Cutler critic like Jenks wants to be proven wrong, as Bears fans we would love to see Jay succeed, but after so many years of mediocre play coupled with that ridiculous contract, we're fed up. Hopefully, this coaching staff is on the way out, we're stuck with Jay, maybe he won't be so terrible with a coaching staff that isn't way in over their heads now that he has weapons. In the past, we've had OCs that were competant, just didn't have the talent, now the Bears have the talent but the coaching staff are a bunch of mental midgets. I'm STILL willing to give Jay a chance to prove us all wrong, even though the odds that he's anything other than a physically gifted but low football IQ, turnover prone, fundamentally unsound QB are very low at this point of his career.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 12, 2014 -> 01:10 PM) Yup. A couple of zingers by the Saints and Lions and that could cap it off These are the final scores I'm hoping for... Saints 45 Bears 17 Lions 37 Bears 13 That should do it
  14. I hate to defend Melo because I'm not a fan of his game but really, who here would leave $70 million on the table? I know it'd be hard for me to do that if I were in his shoes, especially considering that the team I'd be joining has a superstar that can't stay healthy and might never be the same player he was. Other than that, yeah Lol @ the Knicks
  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 8, 2014 -> 12:53 PM) @TyDunne: Mark Murphy believes Favre is heading back south after today's event. No plans on attending the game” False alarm everyone. We will have to wait for a proper reunion. Oh do keep us informed, us Bears fans really care...
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 7, 2014 -> 11:37 AM) Unless Trestman goes along with him this does nothing for me. Amen
  17. Good Lord, I want Trestman and his entire coaching staff fired. Unfortunately we're stuck with Cutler but maybe he won't be so terrible with a HC who isn't retarded. Please let it be Jim Harbaugh
  18. Almost unbelievable how well this team was built after being shot down by Melo over the summer. This team is better for NOT landing Melo. Not enough credit is given to the Bulls FO in my opinion. A healthy Bulls team is easily the best East team and a legit title contender.
  19. I'm not on Jenksismyb*tch level of Cutler hate, I don't even hate the guy, I really want to like him but he has just not delivered so far. And it's not even a question of him lacking the tools to be successful, and that's what kills me about him. He's a very physically talented QB, it's the mental aspect (has a tendency to look rattled, which leads to many of his bad decisions) that holds him back. At this point of his career, he is what he is, a QB that could look elite one game and absolutely terrible the next, and he is turnover prone and he'll most likely always be.
  20. QUOTE (scs787 @ Nov 27, 2014 -> 10:21 PM) I'm right here...I blame the OL Lol, right I wonder why the 49ers thought it was a good idea to go at Sherman.
  21. Two teams fighting for first place in the NFC East led by QBs of Mexican ancestary, I bet they're making kind of a big deal about that south of the border among NFL fans...
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 27, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) Add another giveaway to the league leader in turnovers Not too long ago, Cutler's apologists always came to his defense, blaming everyone but Cutler. I wonder what happened to them...
