  1. QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 11:59 PM) I've gotta say it feels like the refs are trolling Derrick Rose This is where Thibs needs to step in, b**** and complain to the media, even if it means getting fined. PJax was a master at this. Rose gets hammered alot going to the rim and he hardly ever gets a call. OTOH, Harden, Durant, LeBron get every damn call...
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 06:49 PM) Cue mexsoxfan Yeah, I'm not sold on the Cavs THIS year. When the game slows down and becomes a half court defensive battle as they do in the playoffs, especially in the East, the Cavs will still have Love and Irving out in the floor. The Heat won a bunch of games because they had an elite D to go along with LeBron. I still don't believe the Cavs can shut down the opponent offense, I don't care what they do during the regular season. The playoffs are a whole different animal. The East will come down to the Bulls, Hawks and Wizards, IMO.
  3. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:26 PM) ya that's the way I feel about Atlanta. It'll be interesting how seeding in the East shakes out. If they playoffs started today we'd play the Cavs... Wizards scare me more than Atlanta... just don't match up well.. Beal\Wall, Nene, and Gortat The Bulls SHOULD be able to match up well with Butler/Rose, Noah, Gasol and Gibson. In fact, we should have the upper hand.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:03 PM) Thats great and all, they are a really great story this season. I just dont buy it. I think they are gonna be a regular season champ and get exposed in the post season. If they dont, hey im wrong. Wouldnt be the first time, wouldnt be the last. I really hope you're right, they along with Washington are the two teams that worry me the most in the East.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 09:32 AM) The Warriors had won 19 in a row at home and are far and away the best team in the NBA at the moment, and the Bulls were missing Jimmy Buckets and Dunleavy. I was being realistic There's a team down south that has won 16 in a row and 30 of their last 32 games...
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 12:29 PM) Some people do. If he really is a decent guy, I don't know why he can't take the couple hours of stupid questions and answer them like a decent human being. It doesn't seem to be so difficult for others. This game is shown all over the world. Many of the dumb questions come from reporters from other countries not all that familiar with the game. Even most of the media jokes about how dumb media day is for the Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean you have to act like a jerk. That's what ESPN wants you to think, I really believe that very very few people actually really care. Reporter, "Marshawn, can you describe how you felt after that 79 TD run?"...I mean, these are retarded cringe worthy questions, SMH
  7. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:13 AM) I disagree completely. I think the Seahawks are the most unlikable team in the NFL, besides maybe the Patriots now. I think this Superbowl will be hate-watched by anyone who isn't a fan of one of these teams. Meh, this is entirely subjective, if these guys were wearing Cowboys uniforms, I bet you wouldn't find them quite so unlikeable. Dennis Rodman was one of the most hated member of the Bad Boy Pistons to Bulls fan, then he wore a Bulls uniform and magically became a Bulls fan favorite...
  8. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 09:10 AM) But what really ever comes out of "media day" that matters or anyone cares about? It's always just canned non-answers. EXACTLY! Who really gives a s*** what they say anyways, they never really give you original and insightful answers, just the same clichéd answer over and over again. I care what they do on the field on Sunday, not what they say to the media mid-week
  9. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 12:18 AM) Only if Bulls could be the sub .500 teams, they'd be sitting pretty right meow. Losing against sub .500 win teams, especially at home, is just not putting the effort. In the larger scheme of things, I really don't mind it that much because I see it as the Bulls pacing themselves and saving it for the playoffs. We've seen previous Bulls teams going all out for the entire regular season and looking gassed in the playoffs. When they play with energy, they can beat anyone.
  10. Whatevet happens, we know the Bulls can beat these guys...I'm more worried about getting out of the East with the Wizards/Hawks in the way.
  11. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 11:43 PM) More interesting than Rose's 11 TO to no assist ratio is the fact that he hasn't attempted an FT, despite the number of drives and amount of contact in each drive. I hate to complain about the refs but DRose just doesn't get calls that other stars get.
  12. I don't care what other people say, I like Marshawn Lynch and his "f*** you" attitude. Call me crazy but the Seahawks don't strike me as a particularly unlikeable bunch, J hope the bury those cheaters this Sunday.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 23, 2015 -> 09:40 PM) Mr. Cub Ernie Banks, 83 Always struck me as a genuine nice dude, R.I.P
  14. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 05:36 PM) Seattle is so unlikable. Yeah so let's root for the more likeable Patriots!
  15. Watched the game with a few buddies so I couldn't post earlier but my gosh, that was a gut wrenching defeat by the Packers, almost felt sorry for them...almost.
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 03:41 PM) Russel Wilson is a mental midget. Great call I know you dislike Wilson but he stepped up when he needed to, OTOH your boy Luck looked lost out there...
  17. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 02:52 PM) I hear ya but it just so happens that in my lifetime the Bears have only made it to one SB which they lost while the packers have been to 3 which they have won 2 (and have had a number of really good chances of getting there in most seasons under Favre and rodgers with the rare exception of a few down years). I guess I'm spoiled Yup, it's great to be spoiled. Honestly though, as Bears fan, I dislike (hate is too strong a word) the Packers because they are our biggest division rival but I do respect them and I actually do like Rodgers. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they beat Seattle so long as they don't win the SB, lol
  18. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 02:37 PM) Yes, not a manning fan at all. Bears haven't won a super bowl in 30 years and haven't had sustained success since mid 80s. That's a long time It's cyclical, I remember when the Packers stunk during the late 70s and all through the 80s until you guys got Favre in the early 90s. The Bears got to the SuperBowl and a NFC title game in the last 10 years. The Bears could do much better of course, but it's not like they've been doormats every year since their last NFL title. Great start for GB
  19. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 02:29 PM) At least green bay has a history of success unlike seattle to back them up So do the Bears, not recently though, yet Packer fans still chant "the Bears still suck". Did you root for the Bears in the 06 SuperBowl?
  20. Seahawks doing everything they can to hand this game to GB
  21. I think the Pack should've gone for it on 4th down, you ain't beating Seattle with FGs
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 18, 2015 -> 01:17 PM) Is it bad that I want to root for the Packers today? I just can't handle the Seahawks and their fans anymore. Like Packers fans are any better. Unless the other team has a bunch of felons and thugs, rooting for the Packers as a Bears fan is pretty much a no-no.
  23. I get that LeBron is older and has a ton mileage. My point still stands, he is no longer an elite defender. If you still think he is (you probably do), then you're a bigger nut than I am.
