  1. Yep, I mean he's got all the tools plus the pedigree, and he's really fast. You don't see WRs with all the tools this kid has that often, Moore and this kid have me salivating at the thought of it, and getting more draft picks on top of that too? Sorry to all the Williams fanboys but trading down and taking him seems a no brainer to me but that's just my opinion lol
  2. Not gonna lie, the prospect I want the most is MHjr, he is a can't miss prospect while QBs are more of a wild card. We know JF is flawed, but I keep going back to his league leading passer rating to DJ Moore, in theory putting MHjr opposite Moore would create a ton of space for other recievers since you can't doubleteam both, right? And Harrison is the type of reciever that doesn't need to be "wide open" because of his size, jumping ability, hands and strength...great recievers make pedestrian QBs look elite, Brock Purdy didn't look so hot in the games Deebo Samuel missed this season for example...
  3. Red Auerbach is one off the top of my head. Jerry West also as GM and team executive...Krause infamously said that organizations won titles, not the players, guess what, the Bulls have gone back to irrelevance, they started as irrelevant, MJ brought them to relevance, and back to irrelevance we go...and Krause didn't draft the main piece of that dynasty either.
  4. TBH, many GMs could've built around peak prime MJ. If he was as good as you think he was, why were the Bulls terrible after that dynasty ended? Yep, not having prime MJ was a pretty big hole to fill, and Floyd was absolutely horrid.
  5. I dislike Krause, instead of building harmony in that team, he made it dysfunctional and they succeeded despite of him. Still, I wouldn't have booed, especially towards his widow that had nothing to do with his dumb decisions.
  6. I would also add that if we're being honest, the Bears have never had a good OC with Fields, I mean they've been terrible, and the play calling under Nagy and Getsy was under par, to say the least. I'm just saying let's get him a competent OC that can scheme to JF's strengths instead of forcing him to be someone he's not. He has the skillset and given the weapons next season he still can't develope into a top 10 QB, then let's use the draft capital next year to find our QB.
  7. This is why I'm mostly on the "let's trade down and accumulate draft picks, surround JF with weapons, a competent OC and give him one last shot" camp. I mean he does have a league best 146 QB passer rating to DJ Moore, imagine MHJ, another good WR picked up in FA and Kmet, with a better OLine and a decent OC...I really do believe he can be a better passer, he certainly has the arm and has a nice touch on long passes...and if he somehow still can't put it together, we've built a nice foundation for the next QB and have the draft capital to move up in next year's draft, albeit it won't be #1. I'm just nervous we'll get the wrong guy and see another rebuild go to waste. Bears are already on the cusp of having a legit championship level defense, let's focus on upgrading the DL and the offense. My two cents.
  8. 9 out of the last 15 QBs picked overall #1 were busts. Small sample size I know but something to consider.
  9. Meh, that's totally out of context. GB does a lot of quick hitters and slants so when you average it out, it looks like Love gets rid of the ball quickly all the time but if you saw the game, he had plenty of time and had a nice pocket of protection to pick apart the Bears secondary. OTOH, Fields was running around trying to get away from defenders, does Fields tend to hold on to the ball too long? Yeah, but that really wasn't the overall case yesterday, defenders were in his face and WRs weren't open. The whole team played poorly yesterday, not just Fields.
  10. The Bears are cheap, they're not gonna fire Eberflus and pay the rest of his contract and hire an expensive HC like Harbaugh even if Harbaugh wants to go to Chicago, as much as we want that to happen, it ain't happening.
  11. Lovie was fired after a 10-6 season and overall went 8-11 vs GB, I would throw puppies from a rooftop to have that record vs them, lol. Bring in Harbaugh.
  12. This is exactly what I'm trying to say, the coaching and the talent around Fields is like at least half of the problem. Love has wide open receivers and time in the pocket, he hasn't really been pressured and on top of that, their offensive schemes are just light years better than the Bears. No QB, I don't care if it's the second coming of Brady can succeed with the crap we keep putting our QBs in.
  13. I thought the same as Romo, Kmet had a ton of room to give Fields a better angle at the throw
  14. They were run plays, was he supposed to get out in front and block? ?
  15. On replay, every one of his sacks today either the defender got there so quick no QB in the league would've have done anything positive with that. I get what are Fields limitations but this isn't all on him. Maybe another coaching staff will put him in a better position to succeed but if we don't fix the obvious offensive issues, no QB will succeed here.
  16. There was absolutely no open receiver on his last sack, replay don't lie lol
  17. Fields may not be our future long term QB but I struggle to see what another QB would do on those 3rd down sacks Fields has taken, defenders immediately in his grill and no one open... Why can't we have an OC that can create wide open recievers like GB can?
  18. Exactly, if you think Fields all that is wrong with the offense, then I don't know what to tell you. Love with a stupid throw, lol...should've been a pick.
  19. Doesn't hurt that his O Line can get him time to look downfield.
  20. Lord have mercy, Fields maybe should've gotten rid of that ball quick but this O Line cannot stop a blitz to save it's life
  21. Lol, why would you do anything but just run the damn ball with a 20 point lead and 2 mins left SMH
