Has Jenksy given up the hammer-curve? Is he throwing a (Danks-esque) straight change now?

4/11 GT: Sox vs. Twins, Buehrle vs. Blackburn
Don't give Young any hanging breaking balls. That's all he hits, usually a slider.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) I don't care about Sabermetrics, sorry. What? Where did this shocking confession come from? You really should go to mass at 5, seems there's a lot to get off your chest. Just kidding. Love ya, Greg

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 03:55 PM) We don't really know. It's too small a sample size, but it's clear end is Nixs' superior position. I don't think we should move Beckham again at this point, so i don't think Nix has any choice but to adapt to 3rd.

I'm on a bus back to school. Robbed of my extra innings package, and resorted to ESPN gamday off free wi-fi. Kotsay, hit a homerun? Really?

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 12:30 PM) He should if he isn't. I would rather go with Jones in KF and Pierre as DH and sit Kotsay. Now if he breaks out today you can call that reverse psycho! We should wait till Andruw Jones gets a base-hit before deciding if he has any staying power in the lineup.

4/10 Games
QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 12:11 PM) our minor leagues are horrendous right now....outside of AAA there is next to nothing that would net any value in trade Morel, Shirek, and Nunez would be fine on the back-end of any trade.

4/11 GT: Sox vs. Twins, Buehrle vs. Blackburn
Mark Kotsay is hitting .667 in 3-ab's against Blackburn. Let's hope for something positive out of him tonight.

Ah, s***. Well, if anything could compell me to finally change my username it's a strip club in Motown. I should have known this was coming, those ho's have been making overtures at my name for years.

Ozzie please resign, I know you can't sit through this again
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 01:23 AM) I'm back to the get the best hitters the highest possible number of opportunities to bat school of thinking. That means Juan Pierre at #9 and moving someone like Rios up. Ten years ago, Vizquel would have been perfect...AJ can do it, but that's really not a very good idea, either. Ramirez, certainly not in April, if ever. Teahen, see Pierre, Juan. I really wouldn't mind Rios leading off and Beckham hitting 2nd. I'm sure Ozzie will have some line-up changes, but it's kind of like re-arranging the life boats on the Titanic, 1500+ people are still going to die no matter how pretty we try to make things look! That sounds a lot like my idea of: Rios Beckham Quentin Konerko Teahen Jones AJ Ramirez Pierre It's all a matter of getting our best hitters the most at-bats. Abandon tradional lineup structure, but only to a point. We orient our offense around getting on base, and not running ourselves out of innings.

I feel bad for the pitching staff
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 08:10 PM) they haven't been great. Correction, Linebrink and RAAANNDDY! Haven't been great. Everyone else has been pretty impressive. Especially, Thornton and Pena.

4/10 Games
Hopefully, Marquez can start pulling himself out of the hole, he dug himself last year. Edit: Danksy with a triple. He's demonstrating some great extra-base ability, he just needs to tone down on the K's.
