The Red Sox want Danks more than Floyd..

My source also said, that the Red Sox won't trade Middlebrooks or Brentz for 2 players with only 1 year contracts...

My Red Sox source told me that, this could be a 5 to 6 player trade. With either Danks or Floyd along with Quentin to the Red Sox and some of the players that KW wants back is Reddick, Ranaudo, Igelsias and Doubront. he also said that they been working on this all day..

I mean for the whole league not just with the Sox... I do believe Quentin will be traded tonight and Buehrle will also be leaving the Sox tonight.

This is the last full day of the winter meetings and it has been pretty damn boring so far.. I thought there would be more trades and signings..

IMO Santos will struggle with the Jays because of facing the AL East teams many times..

Santos was expendable since the Sox got Reed and a few others to replace him.

David Aardsma had almost 40 saves in 2009 and about 32 saves the following year. I am pretty sure any team can pick him up for cheap, since Seattle doesn't want him back. There is only a few good closers out there today. The rest is a crap shoot from year to year KW did a great job on this trade today..

Pretty much any decent closer can get 30 saves in a season..

Duquette has only been the Orioles GM for about 3 weeks.. According to AA from the Blue Jays they have been working on this trade for about a month..
