Just curious SS2K5, what kind of haul would you ask for Danks? Another pitcher? A good bat?

I can actually see a lot of people calling for Ozzie's head if the club is having a dismal first 2 months and we are way out of it by June. We should know by then to what extent his DH experiment will have failed miserably or not.

Yeah actually IIRC we pretty much played well against the Rays last year. And we have not been shut out yet as lame as the offense has been some days.

Yeah I agree that a firesale depends on what kind of value you get back for the items on sale. But it is a bit early to tell. If we continue to skid though we will be in a very difficult position by even mid May. Sometimes these things are also confidence and I definitely see days where this is 0 confidence out on the field. I am not sure why some days they just refuse to show up.

I agree, we should not get worked up about us not being part of the real team. We are fans and have some input into the revenue but not much else. Definitely not worth spitting up blood in a thread.

Don´t think you are over-reacting. Another thing that has tobe addressed is whether Pierre is going to be our lead-off answer long term. His BA is terrible and his OBP not much better but it is early and he does have 6 stolen bases in 14 on base opportunites (10 hits/4 BB´s) which is very good. Hope his BA goes up to at least .270.

Yeah just checked his stats/age and he could be a short term gap filler but not the long term middle of the order high OBP lefty power bat we would love to have. Can´t see any impact bat like that unless we wait for Prince Fielder to hit FA and then it will be a 200 million dollar paycheck easy.

I was really high on at least KW trying to pry Agon loose from the Pads for a package centered on Hudson/Flowers and Morel. But I don´t know anymore. If Freddie fails then we need the insurance that Hudson can possibly provide. I think another poster suggested looking at Berkman which may be a cheaper option. Let´s hope the Sox turn it around and play better ball from now until the trade deadline.
