If they are worried about the extra 12.5 million to next year’s extremely low payroll they are screwed anyways if they add a salary floor with their extremely low payroll as it already sits

I’ll hold back judgement to see what other moves they make. If they get a legit 1 or 2 and Castillo becomes our 4 or 5 starter depending on where you rank him and Kay with Fedde being your long reliever then I’ll be fine with it

Kinda meh on this trade. On one hand we get a veteran whose stats are no better than Fedde currently but has playoff experience, on the other hand we gave up Boston Smith who looks like he could be promising regardless of his position (c or LF) but we also got rid of Dominguez
