If the Sox were rumored to be in play for Las Vegas I’d be more worried than I am now about a Nashville relocation, on the other hand JR is a cheap bastard and if Nashville pony’s up the money for a new stadium, it would be such a JR/Whitesox thing to do. Saving a dime in the short term versus long term success.

Best case scenario is Jerry sells the team and new owner builds a stadium in the city or suburbs to keep the team here. Nightmare Scenario - JR sells/moves the team to a different part of the country and my fandom to this franchise comes to an end. Hard to root for an out of area MLB team on a regular basis
