After we sign Davis back we are stuck with Davis and Burke, in other words one of the worst C tandems in the majors. Your just assuming AJ is coming, which IMO is unlikely.

Please tell me you didn't just compare a SS with an average .264 and an OBP or .306 to a SP with a sub 3.7 ERA and nearly 200 K's...

Yes, but Ben Davis has completely sucked for an entire season. There is no 2 ways about it, without signing a C from the outside, our situation is a joke.

Why is that? .207 last year .237 career .256 OBP last year .306 OBP career No thanks, at least Burke has hit at the ML level before. We dont need 3 catcher if we have someone capable like AJ.

You don't need 3 when one of them is actually good enough to hit consistantly at the ML level. AJ/Burke would be just fine.
