Over the offseason he will probably have extensive video and swing work with some sort of coach and come out much better next year.

I don't know if I'm in the minority here but I think this was a really good return for Thornton.

A) 2 young, high upside position players that can start playing immediately (preferably a CF and a SS). B) If Peavy, Rios, Alexei and a few bullpen guys go, at least 3-5 new additions to our top 10 prospect list on top of what I wrote above. (Preferably position players)
