I’m not going to freak out over this until I see what they do this offseason. It amazes me how many people are freaking out over this.

People are saying that they are one of the teams that are going to spend money so I don’t buy this. I think they will spend money but just not splurge on one guy. Y2Jimmy0, also mentioned yesterday to be careful taking seriously public reports.

Rosario would be a platoon option if we missed out on Springer but defensively he’s not that good as you can tell from the video. He would still be an upgrade as a hitter but I think Pederson would be a better all around player than Rosario so if we miss out on Springer he would be the best option to target. However, I don’t think he would leave the West Coast.

Man we didn’t see all this activity on twitter last week. Must be picking up a bit.

More tidbits:

I saw some information today that said that all these leaks that are coming out through the Blue Jays may be the agent trying to posture or drive up the price for other suitors. However, it was coming from that MLB burner account that is fake so I’m not taking too much stock into it. @Y2Jimmy0also mentioned earlier to be careful how seriously we take the public reports so we’ll see what happens. I’m still not expecting anything.
