White Sox vs. Twins, 3:10 CT, Fox
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 9, 2011 -> 04:12 PM) June 8th, against Mariners. 2 homers in a 7-4 loss. Had one the previous game. So over a month of typical Carlos deepfreeze. Wow thats a long time. I remember he tied the game at 4-4 in the 8th. Sox were going for the sweep.

Rios grounders to short are a little less annoying on radio compared to watching it 15 times a week.

Twins @ Sox, 7/8/11, 7:10, WCIU
Lets see if the Sox can continue this tonight...theres no reason to not score ten or more tonight...you have a struggling starter and an awful bullpen. DON'T. STOP. NOW. BOYS

7/7: White Sox vs The "Golden Sponge Cakes with Creamy Fillings&q
There is seriously no reason not to sit Dunn these last 3 games before the all-star break. Let him go home, clear his head, do whatever and rejoin the team next week.

7/7: White Sox vs The "Golden Sponge Cakes with Creamy Fillings&q
Honestly...maybe the umpiring has been a little sub-standard, but give it a rest Hawk....we wouldn't have any more than two runs anyhow.

7/7: White Sox vs The "Golden Sponge Cakes with Creamy Fillings&q
Batting Dunn and Rios back to back in the line-up at this point just can't happen.
-
7/7: White Sox vs The "Golden Sponge Cakes with Creamy Fillings&q
Swing the freakin' stick Dunn...seriously, whether it was a strike or not...at some point you just gotta start swinging the bat. Unreal.

So Joe Mauer is gobbling up everything, and Paulie has the most mindless error we've seen this season...only Sox vs. Twins.

The Twins have blown a lot of big leads this year...

QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:46 PM) The lowly Cubs were down 8-0 after four innings tonight, and now they are tied at 8 in the 7th inning. Anything is possible. I guess...I honestly thought this baby was over at 3-0...but I guess theres a reason I'm still watching.

I'm sorry...I'm not usually this guy, but it's time to plunk somebody. If for no other reason than to show that the team is alive and not dead. I've never seen a more lifeless scene...

QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:37 PM) Humber is one of the few players on this team I still like. Seeing him suck like this, it hurts. In fairness he really hadn't had a start like this all year. It was bound to come at some point.

WE DID IT PAULSTAR
QUOTE (spiderman @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 05:06 PM) Konerko obviously deserved it, but sort of funny that the White Sox anemic offense somehow lands 2 all-stars. I was thinking the same thing. Two hitters and no pitchers just doesn't seem right for this years team.
-
Paul Konerko not named to the AllStar Game
I don't live in Chicago and can't find it on-line. How would one get one of those "Paul Star" shirts?

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 05:54 PM) So I'm out of town and missed this whole game. Boxscore says Humber went 7 innings, and Thornton went 1 2/3. So who recorded the last out? Did Thornton actually go 2 IP? Did the Cubs somehow get an automatic out somewhere? Thornton pitched the last two.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Humber Thornton Pierre Reds? Little help? For once?

Jeff Cox sending Quentin on a 90 ft. suicide mission was so awesome...the whole time that ball with in the air as the Smith was coming in...in...in I was screaming "SEND HIM! SEND HIM!". The 5% chance that Smith would make an awful throw to allow a run to score was well worth the risk with Rios on deck...then Rios weakly pops to second, hence making the decision look all the greater.
