It's can't be said enough. This is a freakin' disaster right now. Every inning they do something lazy/awful. I just can't believe this.

I'm pretty much cooled down...I think we all had the 7-8-9th innings to get mentally prepared for the outcome. I think it was pretty apparent that we weren't gonna get a hit. We've been flirting with being no hit for a few years now...it was just a matter of time until it finally happened. It's not the least bit shocking/suprising that this happened, which I think makes it easier to accept.

MB wasn't particularly sharp, but pitched out of trouble a few times and was the stopper he needs to be. It's gonna be real tough to start a good stretch with Thornton and Sale looking completely lost out of the pen. I'm scared the Sox are gonna play well in their next few games and have the pen blow a game or two...Ozzie said last night that he feel's like it was the three run blown saves that took the steam out of this team early on that led to this bad run. A win is a win...one in a row. Let's get the Twins tomorrow and Wednesday.

There's a difference between being a fair weather fan, and not attending a series between the two teams with the worst record in baseball. Most of them will probably still watch the game...but for those people who bought tickets this weekend, or the Anaheim series, it's tough to justify spending more good money on a team that could give you another s*** experience. It's not even like the team has played hard every game...to call people "fair weather" is pretty insulting to people who don't have unlimited funds to watch a team whose effort has been in question.

I don't live near the park...but I, in no way, want the Cell packed at any point this week. This team (and the team they will be playing Tuesday and Wednesday for that matter) deserve to play in front of a sparce crowd. The Sox have lost 6 straight at home, and 15 of 18. Why the f*** would anyone want to pack the cell? Team doesn't deserve it. Period.

I'm just going to assume if Rios walked there AJ would have grounded into a DP...less heartbreaking the way it turned out. Oh well...
