  1. At least that wild pitch didn't cost us any runs.
  2. Teahen has actually played some good 3rd base so far this year.
  3. I don't think Hawks in the mood tonight...even more than usual.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) He's our B.J. Upton. He's easily been the most dissapointing player on this team. BJ Upton wishes he made what Alex Rios makes to suck balls.
  5. Tillman...a man with no fastball, has managed for fall behind 3 of 5 hitters and make outs.
  6. Wieters should have hit that ball 10 rows deep...
  7. Humber late covering as well...wake the f*** up guys.
  8. Everyone keeps saying "They won't go 25-5 again"...they don't have to. The Sox were 25-33 and 9.5 back at their lowpoint last season. That is exactly when the run started. When that was over the team was 50-38 and a game up. They finished 38-36 in the last two months (helped only by the fact that they finished 9-2 when virtually already out of it). The fact is that the last two months were very mediocre. The Sox just need to sustain good baseball for the last 5 months of the season. It looks bad right now, yes. I'm just as aggrivated as everybody else. But I also think if people would look back at some of their posts from this time last year they would be pretty embarrassed at how they overreacted. We trail CLEVELAND by 8 games people. If we finish below the Indians this year I'll eat my shorts. We end the year 78-57 (88-74)...that wins the division this year. It might win it easily.
  9. I don't see any bad news there. Walker admitted there might be a problem. Our worst guy out of the pen goes down. and a .158 hitter might have to sit for a little bit.
  10. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 04:30 PM) I'd say Gardner is better than The Bridge. His speed is unreal. Yes...I was being EXTREMELY biased...really doesn't matter I guess. Even if those line-ups are even, then you have to factor in the pitching match-up...which don't look to good.
  11. QUOTE (kane0730 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 04:12 PM) Their "Sunday" line-up looks better than the Sox regular line-up. CF: Granderson vs. Rios=Granderson RF: swisher vs. CQ=CQ 2B: Cano vs. Becks= Cano 3B: A-Roid vs. Morel= Umm... 1B: Chaves vs. Konerko=PK C: Martin vs. Castro=Martin DH: Posada vs. Dunn=Dunn LF: Gardner vs. Lilli=Push SS: Nunez vs. Lexi= Lexi Totals 4-4-1...so the Yankee scrub line-up IS NOT better. It's about the same
  12. Dunn K Rios K (ball in the dirt) AJ ground ball to second.
  13. We won't, but if we actually get a guy or two on in the 9th can you imagine what Gordo vs. Riviera would look like? Gross.
  14. Good f***ing job Mark...one mistake. One damn mistake.
  15. If Pierre starts tomorrow vs. Sabathia...I really don't know what to say.
  16. MB around 100 pitches. If he's finished then I would say well done this evening.
  17. MB is now doing the job. This game shouldn't feel so damn hopeless.
  18. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 07:12 PM) Sox are gonna score this inning. I really didn't believe it either.
