Sox are gonna win 3 of 4...I have a good feeling about this series...I was dreading it all week last week. Now I suddenly have renewed optimism. I think the Sox head home at worst 10-16, 11-15.

The only thing I've seen Dunn do effectively this year is blow bubbles with his gum...every f***ing popout he trots to first, veers off after the catch, and blows a bubble.

I have a Wilson Betimit jersey-t I got on a giveaway night at Kauffman Stadium last year...I'm gonna go ahead and burn that while I'm burning things.

I'm really not looking forward to this 4 game series...not a good way to head into the evil empire playing the way the Sox are.

This is why those games the bullpen blew earlier this season were so damn big. We all knew this long roadtrip was coming, and things might turn out this way. Instead of 11-10 or whatever we're 8-13 and things look way worse than they otherwise would. So predictable...

I've been in denial about the mlb.com package jinx for me. I bought it the last game of the TB series in Chicago...that would make them 3-10 since I got it...ewww...didn't realize it was that bad. Well, hopefully burning the hat will do it...I'll cancel mlb.com premium if I have to...I'll give it two more weeks after the hat burning.

I run a hotel...one of my regulars brought me a spring training Sox cap two weeks ago...I'm burning it tonight. The team is 2-10 since he gave it to me. We suck in spring training every year...there must be some link there.

Thorton is certainly struggling...He gave up a 3 run jack to a guy with the lowest average in the american league on Friday night, and hung an 0-2 pitch for a leadoff double before the Pierre error Monday. Not to mention he was all over the place today with his location and gave up a handfull of solid hits...he hasn't looked comfortable in one outting this year.

Overworking the starters while at the same time not challenging the bullpen are both things that would come back and bite the Sox later in the year...
