Cerbaho: Thanks for the play by play on the Sox game. I can't get the game on my radio but just started listening to the FREE mlb.com radio now. Thanks for gettin' me caught up on the game. Love to see my TONY GRAFFANINO doin' his usual awesome job and now he's stealin' bases. WAY TO GO TONY GRAFFANINO!!!!

STEFF & HEATHER LEE: I love your spunk & intellect gyrls. Steff.....was the SI subscription in your husbands name or some other male sounding name? (if you have a husband)...if not then, SI should FIRE that sexist you spoke to. Thanks for tellin' him off!!!! HEATHER...I know you know your hockey; so, I trust your judgement on the quality of SI.
-
SI1020: What was KW all mad about & upsetting tables? I haven't heard anything about this. I still don't like his attitude in general.
-
I love Robin too. No matter what team he's on. CWSOX: Thanks for puttin' in some good words for my beloved Herbert Perry Herbert managed to out do Robin in batting averages when he ended up with an average over .300 a couple of years ago. Herbert was the first 3rd baseman to hit .300 for the White Sox since George Kell about 45 years ago. You can count on "The Milkman" to deliver.
-
MoochPuppy: Thanks again! I think I got the pixel thingy right now. I changed the width pixel to 100 & left the height at 125. Don't you think Herbert looks more like his handsome self?
-
MoochPuppy: I think it worked. I changed the width of the pixels to 100 & left the height of the pixels at 125. Don't you think Herbert looks more like his handsome self?
-
MoochPuppy: Thanks for the tip about the pixel's on my Avatar thingy. I'll try that. OMG: I never heard the story about Clayton & Franks women before. Now I know why Frank was in such a bad mood for a couple of years. I thought it was just because of the Divorce, his Father's illness & his agent getting killed in that plane crash. I never liked Royce from day one either, but made myself root for him just because he was a White Sock. Things did seem to go downhill once he arrived. Now I know "THE REST OF THE STORY". One more BRAG on my Beloved Herbert Perry . Herbert was the first White Sox 3rd baseman to average over .300 in a season since George Kell did it, I think, in 1945. No knock on Robin Ventura here; because we all know Robin is A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Thanks for all the kind words about My Beloved Herbert. I couldn't buy a Perry t-shirt so I made my own & wore it to a game & just my luck Herbert was sittin' on the bench. I had brought a small megaphone with me to the game & started chanting "HERBERT PERRY DON'T GET NO R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!! Someone took my picture that day showing the PERRY on the back with me looking over my shoulder, but I forgot who took the picture. I'm pretty sure it was either Joey Batters or RedPinStripes. They both said they would check their pictures, but I never heard back from them. RedPinStripes said he was so blasted that he didn't remember if he took the picture or not. Come on Tony or Mike look thru those pictures....P-L-E-A-S-E What's not to love about this guy...Herbert is a fine specimen of a MAN. Besides his clutch hitting, I loved to see Herbert run around 3rd & S-C-O-R-E with a big ole slide over homeplate; but nobody could do that better than Ray Ray & Jose(especially the slidng in home). Man!!!! I miss Ray Durham so much. I'll be watchin' alot more NON-WHITE SOX games now just to catch some of my favorite EX-WHITE SOX players. Herbert & Ray are just a few of the reasons I hate KW & JR.

I'm gonna have some fun now. Looks like I finally got that Avatar thingy to work for me. The focus isn't just right, but it's better than nothing. If anyone can tell me how to get a clearer avatar picture, please let me know. I entered 125 pixel width & 125 pixel height. I'll change the picture from time to time just to see what reaction I get. I just had to give my beloved Herbert first pick. More will follow as I experiment.

YSNY: OMG this is scary. I pretty much feel Mark is wanting out of Chicago, but to see these printed words is even more shocking. Thanks for the info! Does anyone know the exact rules for "tampering" with a player that's under contract with another team? Did what La Russa say break this "tampering" rule? For some reason I've never liked La Russa. For one thing, he just looks like a crabby guy that very rarely smiles & seems to have a superior feeling attitude. I know he was a White Sox manager a few years ago in, I think, the 1980's. I didn't start watching White Sox baseball until about 1990.

Heather: Finally you showed up to defend your MAN....Carlos Lee!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Thanks, also, to the other defenders of Carlos Lee. The stats I posted were hard to read & figure out; but if you go to ESPN.com, you can bring up the stats on left fielders in the American League. Carlos only had 1 error last year it looks like. I can't bear to see a decent player & person get bashed. YASNY got it exactly right about most of the White Sox team making alot of base running blunders....not just Carlos Lee. I've posted several times about one of my pet peeves in baseball....baserunning blunders...The White Sox are oh so guilty of this & since so many White Sox players are guilty, I assume this is a White Sox Management problem. Chisoxfn says "stat wise Carlos Lee Ain't bad. That should tell you El Caballo Naysayers something, because Chisoxfn is well known to know his baseball & especially White Sox Baseball. Witesoxfan: Thanks for the STATS websites. I'll check it out if I get time. As most regular posters here know, Tony Graffanino is my man now that KW dumped my beloved Herbert Perry. Still, I HAVE to defend most any White Sox player because....THEIR GOOD ENOUGH, THEIR SMART ENOUGH & DOGGONE IT "I LOVE THESE GUYS"!!!! Even though alot of the Carlos Lee naysayers are good SoxFan friends of mine on & off the messageboards, they should be ashamed of jumping on the El Caballo Bashing Bandwagon. I beg them to get down off that wagon & give Carlos some LOVE. PLEASE STOP calling Carlos Lee names & calling for him to be DUMPED. STOP with the "idiot", "fat", "sucks", "blows", "train wreck", "lawn ornament", "butt sniffer", "dumbass". wsc425: Once again, one minute you post stuff wanting to get others to join you on the El Caballo Bashing Bandwagon & then 7 minutes later you say Carlos will be fine. You don't know about his 3rd base playing history & just flat out don't know the MAN, so give it up. I don't see how anyone can join your Bashing Bandwagon when you have NO absolutely NO credibility. Get your sloppy stories straight.

To All The Carlos Lee naysayers: El Caballo's future is so bright you'll have to wear shades just to watch him play. Can I get a big 'ole Hell Ya for keeping Carlos Lee???? There has to be at least one other El Caballo lover out there somewhere.

wsc425: I try not to get into it with other fans, but I refuse to sit by & let it go when someone like you slams a White Sox player. Your comment "piece of crap Rowand" was totally uncalled for as far as I'm concerned. Exactly what provoked you to make such a remark? Then it looks like you turned around a post or 2 later & said "I like him in CF too". Weren't you speaking about Aaron Rowand then too? Regardless, I will no longer give credibility to anything you say. Aaron does tend to be too agressive for his own good at times & should have known better to be dirtbiking if he valued his major league career. I guess that's just part of his gung ho personality. Aaron has probably learned his lesson about being more careful in the off season. I'm hopin' he will be ok & "Ready to Play" come Spring Training. Aaron Rowand may not be one of the better centerfielders in baseball yet or ever, but he doesn't deserve to be called "piece of crap" either. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING????

I like the look of the Giants new batting jersey even though it reminds me of a bowling shirt. some bowling shirts are pretty cool. I have a couple & I put an "SRV" Stevie Ray Vaughn patch on one. The other one I had my name put on it. The description of the Mets batting jersey didn't sound like the Giants style though. I'll have to go to the White Sox website to see if there is a picture of the new White Sox batting jersey.

Baggio: I agree with you on almost everything as usual except I'm not an El Caballo basher. HotSoxChick: Get goin' on that Italian Evil Eye & hank of hair thang & I hope it works because I don't want you goin' to no stinkin' jail for finally losin' it and goin' off on KW. Mark Buehrle needs to stay & maybe Sox Fans can start donating to the Help Keep Mark Buehrle on the Southside of Chicago Fund. At this point I think that's our only hope of keepin' Mark & could just cry over the way he has been treated by Sox Management. It's one of the most pathetic(in the worst sense of the word)treatment of a Good Guy I can think of right now. Oh Yeah...Can you say Carlton Fisk????....uhmmmmm.....Robin Ventura?????
-
WSC425: From what I know as a 12 year die-hard White Sox fan, Mark Buehrle is sometimes called BurlyMon. Jon Garland: Jon Jon or Jon Boy Joe Crede: I call Mean Joe Crede...could be Little Joe Joe Borchard: Mean Joe Borchard...could be Big Joe Danny Wright: Didn't you mean Danno as in "Book'em Danno"? Bartolo Colon: I think he needs to get a bunch of White Sox wins before we start calling him Savior. Billy Koch: Billy The Kid by some A's fans Sandy Alomar: I don't know a nickname for Sandi but I respect him very much Why does D'angelo Jimenez get called a name that has something to do with accidents? That sounds more like a name for Aaron Rowand since he tends to crash into walls & fly off cliffs on dirtbikes. Kelly Wunsch: I call The Wunschmiester sometimes. I like Sidewinder too. I don't Rauch that well & forget his first name, but isn't it Jon also...He could be Big Bad Jon. I do know that he's the tallest Major League pitcher ever & a pretty darn good prospect too.
-
Mark Buehrle went to a baseball or sportswriters award ceremony in St. Louis one day after all the Cardinals Fest/Winter Warm-Up was over. I read about this on the Cardinals mlb.com website & they listed mostly Cardinal players that would be attending. This ceremony might have just been for local St. Louis area sports figures. Ever how, I think Mark has the right to attend whatever sports ceremony that he wishes. At least Mark will feel some respect in St. Louis. Kenny Williams & Sox Management started the disrespect thang first....not Mark Buehrle. You shouldn't look down on a guy to want to pitch for the team he was born & raised to love. Mark's whole family are die-hard Cardinal fans. I want Mark to stay with the White Sox as long as he continues his winning ways, but won't blame him or think of him as a bad guy for leaving after the way he is being treated by White Sox Management.

Thanks Vince! I should be staying at the Hyatt Regency starting Friday night. I'll try to get there on Friday ASAP & will probably take off work early that day to not miss any of the Firday night festivities. I don't usually make it on Friday, but this year I want the Full SoxFest....My addiction to Sox will be at it's peak by then.
-
Thanks to you all that put in good things to say about My Hero & Beloved Herbert Perry. YES! Herbert was the CLUTCHIEST & not a bad 3rd baseman or 1st baseman either. Plus one of the nicest Good Guys you could ever meet. I LOVE HERBERT PERRY.....everybody knows that if they know me. I'm hopin' to get a Herbert Perry game worn jersey at SoxFest this year.
-
FYI Sox Fans.....White Sox mlb.com still have Keith Foulke listed as appearing at the SoxFest 2003. No mention of The Big Hurt being at the SoxFest yet. What's the word on Frank Thomas being at SoxFest 2003????

Does anyone know where to go on the internet to look up the fine details on exactly how some trades went down? It's all just too much stats & stuff for me to remember.
-
Cerbaho: YES!!!! Most of us regulars here know that it is said that Kenny Williams basically built most of the current White Sox farm system. I just flat out don't like KW's attitude & ways. KW is right to hold onto most of our young prospects & not do too much trading right now, but he already got rid of a bunch of our best young pitchers in the Ritchie trade & we all know how that has turned out:puke Another thing that burns me about KW is that he got rid of Ray Durham. I also really hate losing Good Guys like Sean Lowe, Keith Foulke, Mark Johnson & my beloved Herbert Perry, but I can live with those decisions. The best thing KW has done is get Billy Koch. Surely Billy won't turn out to have a David Wells attitude:puke I'm glad Sandy Alomar is back too, but how was it we got rid of him in the first place? Didn't we just send him on his merry way with no trades involved. Sorry, I have a very bad memory on some things. On another note: Just because this board does not ban profanity is no reason to talk down to & use so much profanity toward fellow Sox fans when they don't agree with you. If you don't care to get any respect here then continue on.

Jason: What's the name of that baseball stadiums book? I love that kind of stuff.

I just sent an instant message to a sox fan today saying why we're keepin' Todd Ritchie besides the fact that no one else wants him. I said that Kenny Williams will keep on trottin' Ritchie out to the mound until he destroys the White Sox chance for a good season...much like Clayton was left in the lineup long enough to ruin the Sox. I think that fits KW's f***in' it's all about "Me Me Me Me" Logic Why don't he just get his mug on the cover of GQ & then maybe he can move on to concentrating about the White Sox & doin' his f***in' Job. I bow to HotSoxChick......she is the f***miester. HotSoxChick...postin' f***S...She Can Put It On The Message Board YYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS
