I wonder how many other times this has even been possible? There can't be very many times in MLB history that a player has even batted with the bases loaded and his team trailing by exactly 4 runs in an extra inning game.

I'm against allowing the state to take DNA for any arrest, or even for any arrest in specific categories, so I would strike down the Maryland law (and any similar law) as worded. However, I am willing to consider that in this specific case, the state needed his DNA in order to prosecute the case he was originally arrested for (they were Assault1 and Assault2, so DNA could have been involved) and allow this specific collection of DNA to remain admissible.
