Not as much in this sport. I think the ego of umpires in this sport is far and beyond what it should be. I'm not sure a Joe West would be tolerated in the NFL or NBA.

I mean here you have a tight game and the umpires have to remind you that their present at the game. It's really astounding in this sport that they can't help it but interject themselves.
