  1. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Dec 10, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) Why is that the problem? They have plenty of prospect depth from which to trade from. I think he's hesitant to pull that trigger again. He really doesnt like trading prospects.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Dec 10, 2016 -> 12:54 PM) He gave up like 5 good prospects for Ken Giles. And Ken Giles isn't taht good. That's the problem
  3. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Dec 10, 2016 -> 12:02 PM) He gave up a huge package for Giles, he'll eventually give up some prospects for a TOR starter. I think he's just playing hardball hoping the price drops a bit on Quintana or another target. The problem for him is there is no other target. Atleast one not as openly available as Q.
  4. QUOTE (steveno89 @ Dec 10, 2016 -> 11:52 AM) That is a really fair asking price I feel like. The Sox won't trade Quintana for less than that, and Houston can certainly afford to deal Musgove/Martes/Tucker in exchange for four years of prime Q Sidenote: We would have unrivaled prospect pitching depth in the mlb if that deal were to happen I would take Musgrove out if they added others in. But Martes and Tucker have to be in there.
  5. Luhnow is a prospect hoarder. I dont see a trade going down with the Astros.
  6. That package is absolutely fine. Plus your getting someone to replace Q in the starting rotation because Martes might not be ready to go. I bet Musgrove is the hang up in that deal.
  7. That's extremely reasonable
  8. So why are people up in arms with the Astros? I read that guys Twitter...it looks like he's just saying Major League players. He was including Martes in his trade proposals.
  9. Cubs fans are so salty right now
  10. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 08:47 PM) Especially when Hahn is playing the role of Robert De Niro JR kind of looks like Paulie
  11. QUOTE (Ro Da Don @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 08:44 PM) Astros: We want elite starting pitching White Sox: We have Sale and Quintana, here's the price... Astros: Nah too steep White Sox: F*** you, pay me Pony up already Houston! Goodfellas method of doing business always works
  12. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 08:35 PM) The Astros have discussed a Jose Quintana deal with the White Sox but as of now find the price too steep. -- Jake Kaplan https://t.co/p43H4IqisC That's posturing for sure
  13. We'll see. Sounds like there's alot of smoke involving these two teams.
  14. No. Especially with Q. This is the offseason to trade him. Not next offseason.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 07:14 PM) Also Baron thank you for filling me in. I had to catch up on work and then there wa slike 500 tweets and I couldn't figure anything out. No problem
  16. Ok cool. They normally invite insiders on there but I wasnt paying attention to who was talking.
  17. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 06:58 PM) Millar? I believe so yes
  18. One of the guys on MLBN...no idea what his name is(guy on the far right). Said the White Sox have 2 more moves they are working on. We'll see if they get them done in the next day or two.
  19. Astros major depth in their farm is in their lower leagues
  20. I would definitely want Tucker back. No exceptions.
  21. They are talking about Quintana on MLBN next
  22. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 06:31 PM) Ok, who hacked ss2k account? Hopefully someone else hacks it who doesnt sound like an 80 year old man without his morning coffee.
  23. Houston continues to look for a front-of-the-rotation type as well. Nothing new there. It's really the only thing Astros are missing now. https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/status/806656310456553472
  24. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 06:03 PM) Sean Sears: WhiteSox does not want Springer, it will have to include either Astros Martes, Tucker, or Cameron or potentially a combination of 3. Take it FWIW from Sports Mockery dude.
  25. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 7, 2016 -> 05:59 PM) But best match I see is Cubs write for Sports Mockery I dont like Sports Mockery personally...probably because they've used my tweets before
