6/3 - The Return of the Bacon Slayer
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 10:36 PM) 67 innings since last home run. I have a feeling that Flowers and Manto are going to be the scapegoats. Agree 100 percent...maybe another player

6/3 - The Return of the Bacon Slayer
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 09:45 PM) Even on that stop, Flowers didn't get down to block the ball. So much for elite defense.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 09:41 PM) Wow Flowers, just wow. Someone better start apartment hunting in Charlotte. Yeah he's not good

6/3 - The Return of the Bacon Slayer
QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 06:25 PM) Hayes also said on his twitter that Flowers has reputation in clubhouse as one of hardest workers. Probably less of a punishment talk and more of a last vote of confidence. Not the "lack of enthusiasm" guy(s) that we're speculating about. Lack of production not lack of enthusiasm.

6/3 - The Return of the Bacon Slayer
Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN 35s Tyler Flowers said he was one of players who had meeting. Said it was about getting on same page, had overall positive tone. #whitesox https://twitter.com/DanHayesCSN Surprise surprise....

Thats a terrible lineup...for once I feel bad for Kepp. He has to bat between two black holes.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 06:18 PM) Seriously, how many runs did anyone think the Sox were going to score today anyway? Zero

FIRE JEFF MANTO
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 06:00 PM) Good point. But what I meant was more that the players we have seem to be meatheads, but that is just me Thats probably right

6/2 - Sox at A's
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:15 PM) Flowers played that terribly....shocking Its funny how much he's changed. Offensively talented in Atlanta and defensively deficient. Then he comes here and becomes offensively deficient and defensively talented. Now he's just bad in both areas.

FIRE JEFF MANTO
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) How many hitting coaches will we go through then? I think Manto gets fired if the streak continues into next week. But if things dont click with a new coach it only makes it easier for a GM to decide what direction to go in. Its just a quick fix to try and spark something.

6/2 - Sox at A's
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) He'll just not be brought back with most of this staff after the season, IMO What I think is going to happen is they are going to fire him and try to spark something just like KC did not too long ago. Personally I dont think its a bad idea. Kind of a quick change to try and turn the corner. If we're still in the slump then you know the direction you should head in.

6/2 - Sox at A's
Ill give Manto a few more days if we lose this game.

FIRE JEFF MANTO
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 03:24 PM) It's the players .... Not the coach Well that can be said for alot of firings that have happened in the sports world. You could say the coach did the best he could ect ect. It wont matter because the coach is ultimately held accountable.

6/2 - Sox at A's
Well looks like more at bats for Flowers have been really paying off
-
6/2 - Sox at A's
I wouldnt be surprised even if it doesnt help if Manto is fired soon. If the struggles keep continuing that is.

6/1 - Sox at A's
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 07:02 PM) I wonder if Phegley is on the way up, as he's not playing tonight (he didn't play 2 nights ago either)? He played last night didnt he?

6/1 - Sox at A's
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:57 PM) The team sucks, at least they're showing their true colors now than after the deadline. Fine with me.

6/1 - Sox at A's
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) If they changed your job description at work every 2-3 weeks, how do you think anyone would do in that scenario? I expect them to perform anyway. As for Nate Jones he has no excuse.
-
6/1 - Sox at A's
I cant wait until Nate Jones and Omogrosso get sent to AAA.

6/1 - Sox at A's
