Why does Willie Harris think that everytime he is up he canbunt his way on. Is he afraid to take a full swing?

Loaiza has pitched really well today. I hope the players can manage to get this one for him. He deserves the win at this point.

I wouldn't say that he doesn't care. I think they all would care alot more if Manuel would stoke them a little. Hi laid back demeanor allows everyone to be laid back. Loaiza does need a win today. It be a damn shame if Moyer started the all-star game.

Damn that Warren Morris!

Well, at least Warren Morris didn't get a hit. He's been on fire against Sox pitching this series.

This preformance wasn't talked about nearly enough. Gordon getting out of the bases loaded and nobody out was awesome. Too bad the inept offense rendered it pointless. I think Gordon has been doing a fantastic job his last to appearances. We need that in order to keep Koch off the field.

I think we've teed off against Cornejo before, so this looks like a good match up for our side with Loaiza starting.

I think Beltin' Bill Melton would be a great compliment to Hawk. DJ is alright, but I think Melton would be better with Hawk. Bringing back Wimpy would be the greatest, but that's not going to happen.

Just to clarify, the Japanese vote I was talking about are the actual people in Japan that get on to the MLB website and vote for their players like Ichiro and Matsui. I don't see how anyone here can make a case for Matsui to start the game, especially with Vernon Wells out there. Personally I would be alot happier with the fans not being able to vote, or the fan vote counting for less. Everytime I think about fans voting at games I see ten year old little kids with a huge stack of all-star ballots punching names because they sound cool or puinching them because they are a hometown player, not voting for players that truly deserve to be there.

I don't really care if Giambi's numbers are a little better. Frank does deserve to be there, he finished second in the 32nd man vote, and he is a hometown player. I think Scoscia should have enough respect for that to put him on the team. This is besides the fact that I hate the Yankees with a passion. Everett also deserves to be there. If you want to talk about someone who shouldn't really be there much less be starting that man is Hideki Matsui. The only reason he is starting is because of Japanese voters which I think is ridiculous.

I really like the idea of adding Ponson. I think if the Sox are still in the hunt he could be to one player to push them to the top. Moving Wright to the bullpen would be great to help solidify that unit. There is still alot of games left and even with this road trip meltdown I don't think there is a reason to be even thinking about giving up yet.
