Snoop Dog did a good job with the first pitch last night. Wouldn't mind seeing Joakim Noah throw out a first pitch against the Cleves since Noah did give a good critical analysis of that city.

The offense has been great the last two nights. Lets keep winning. 6-0 or 11-8. Whatever. Just win games. After this series we don't see the Clevelanders until end of Sept & beginning of Oct. 3.5 games out of first & I hereby proudly announce that we are only one game out from the coveted 2nd wild berth!

Hawk is good. Listened again to his White Sox home run calls from last night. Distinctive and he got emotional/overexcited on the grand slam. Of course, he isn't perfect. But I like him. You want a distinctive voice and we have one.

Guess what? King Kong will be the last player to wear #14 for the White Sox. And I think he is going to hit .400 this year which means we will be hearing a lot of Ted Williams story from the Hawk. Amazing for a guy who really isn't going to get too many infield hits.

Offense was great tonight. Pitching wasn't. But heck it is kinda nice to win a slugfest. Offense is working.

Gotta show some more Da DA appreciation. Nice grand slam. That is clutch.

I don't want the Hawk to go, but if we trade him what can we get? Will the Hawk waive his no-trade clause? Maybe the Red Sox would take him b/c he has a lot of good Red Sox stories. What can we get in return from Boston?
