Southsider called him a lurker, Steff. Try reading the previous posts in the thread before you start jumping in and commenting on something that does not involve you. Thank you clujer great avatar by the way.
-
Lurker? Not me, busy with work yes. I cant believe the intelligence of some people or shall I say lack of, but to each his own. I am not going to get into a war of words with some people on the internet over nothing. Carry on again.

Yeah.. I'd like to know that one too. My point is you guys try to say I am new here or I have been here a week. Simply because my post count isnt as high as yours doesnt mean I havent been around longer. The registration dates do no lie in this case. I dont post just to post. I will post when I learn something that will help this site or respond to some interesting topics.
-
STFU! What is with all the posters that come here and think they own the board after a week. It's great to have new people here but it would be nice if they weren't all egomaniacs who think theirs is the only opinion that counted. But my opinion IS the only one that matters! j/k Well your statement regarding posters who come on here and own the place for a week. I was here in the early stages and I will be here in the end. By no means am I trying to argue with anyone on here, because Im glad we have a place as Sox fans that we can go, however I want us to be known as a reputable site especially with the upcoming transition. Thats all.

Lol i dunno man, all i say is jeter is out 1-2 months, at least, and that guy goes crazy. I am glad I am not the only one who sees how immature he is behaving. Nobody is going crazy, however im just trying to set the record straight that comments like he will be out 1-2 months is what causes rumors and we dont want to be known as a rumor site, reather we want to be known as a fact and informative site. Oh and Southsiders you may want to look at the registration dates of mine and yours.
-
Saying he is out one to two months is about as informative as saying the war with Iraq will be over in one to two years. Anyone can say stuff on the internet and claim to be "in the know" those who dont boast about what they do for a profession are the ones who know. Carry on with your lifes now.

That is a smart move, Graffy gives us better defense and he is willing to do things other players wont do to help the team win. I would not be surprised one bit if Tony plays well enough to be the every day SS, hopefully his knee can handle it. I have never been on the Jose Valentin bandwagon like other Sox fans and media. He is a horrible defensive player and his bat is very inconsistent. However he does bring it everyday and hustles everytime out.

That is exactly my point, nobody can make a fair judgement to the extent of this injury until the MRI. After the MRI they will be able to tell if he will be out 2 weeks or all season, at this point both stand as possiblities. But again what do I know.

Steff with all due respect please dont use that type of language on this board. This website is going to be a first class place for Sox fans to go and that type of language is not acceptable. And besides it looks like I have been hanging around here a little longer than you have September 2002 comapred to December 2002, but thanks for the advice. Go Sox 2003 AL Central Champs. -
He is out a month or two, at least. Phew! Glad i didnt draft jeter on any of my fantasy teams! It is way too early to say he is out a month or two, a serious shoulder injury means he is done for the season. How about we not jump the gun and let the people in the know stay in the know and inform us.

Derek Jeter injured his left shoulder sliding head first into 3rd base while colliding with the Blue Jays catcher Huckaby. They have not said how bad it is, but they did have to "pop" it back in place. I will let you know when I hear more.

hotsoxchick1 while I usually agree with your posts that one was not very intelligent. Oh well, they are just words your right. Some words arent meant to be said especially from some people who dont know a 6-4-3 from a 4-6-3. But what do I know I only work in the game. -
It just shows the lack of knowledge of the game of baseball that some people have on here. Anyone who thinks the season is over after one loss can stop posting on here for all I care. We dont need people that act in such a manner on this site that offers so much great insight to many true fans. It was one game, one day against a very talented young starting pitcher. So Carlos Lee had a bad game who cares, I guarantee you that he comes thru more times than not this season. Go Sox. I dont understand some people on here, oh well.
-
I think both of these guys are going to have great years. Lee is really evolving into a quality MLB hitter and has always shown power numbers. D'Angelo, if he can resort to the D'Angelo before the accident will be a great MLB 2B. I project Lee goes .285 28 HR & 90 RBI Jimenez .275 12 HR, 65 RBI & 20 SB Anyone else?
-
Everyone we need to wake up and hit the reality button. The likelihood of Wright or Rauch becoming quality MLB pitchers is very, very slim. I am not bashing just speaking the truth.
-
Okay the way we look at it, we got: Mark and Colon they are going to be strong. Garland is young and will improve, he has great stuff. Loiza, Wright and Stewart? I dont see any guaranteed W's every time they go out. We need one more legit MLB starter. Loaiza could be a nice pick up, but historically he is .500 or hovering around there. Wright has shown to be terrible at times. Stewart is unproven, but could have great upside. Remember dont get carried away with Spring Training stats they are just that.

The 'Stros waived Shane, I have always liked his game and thought he has long been underrated. Anyone think the Sox should take a chance with SR?
-
enjoy, its very informative and funny Seems like a great guy. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/buehrle10questions.html

Nice piece on one of the Sox best prospects: http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...s_cws&fext=.jsp

If there wasone player out there that you would want the Sox to add to help secure the AL Central who would it be?
-
While I have seen many of websites to this "transfer" I think it is a double edge sword. If done correctly it can be a very good move. However if the insiders.com, like they do with most of their sites make it where the fans/visitors have to start paying for information then its not a good move. People never , ever pay for material on the internet. Its always a scam. All the stuff you see on espn.com, sportlsine.com, etc are offered for free somewhere else. Do not fall victim to someone trying to make some bucks off of you for information that can be found for free. After saying this if soxnet.net can remain Free and it is improved as far as the hits, etc. then its a good move. If the site becomes a membership only site for some of the other information then I oppose. Either way its not my decision, but best of luck.

Lets say over the last decade who would you say in your eyes is the biggest White Sox prospect bust. Eddie Pearson?
