They're gonna hav a great DP combo for many years to come. Hopefully Reyes will develop nicely in the majors and not become another Brandon Phillips.
-
Still I think Dan Evans thinks he can do betta than just Paul Konerko for Odalis Perez. Pitchin wins, simple as that.
-
That's quite a lot for a veteran pitcher who I don't think has won more than 15 games in a season. Still J.P Riccardi is goin heavily afta pitching this offseason but he's lettin Cory Lidle go and Kelvin Escobar went to da big bucks in Anaheim.
-
Unfortuantely now I think KW won't want him because we've already got a guy like him in Juan Uribe. I hope Aaron Miles' numbers don't skyrocket at Coors either.
-
Yeah I've been wonderin where every1's locations went. I know Jason said he was gonna bring them back up though I think.
-
With Kaz Matsui picked up by the Mets, we're all hopin that will happen. I think sumthin will get done concernin him and Konerko at New Orleans.
-
I think an Audrey Huff would be an "oh my god" offer for them. He's 3 years from havin arbitration so he'll come cheap. I think Tampa Bay would be crazy to deal him. Besides those 2, I don't really see what they can offa in a trade. Isturis and Mota would be the 2 most likely guys along with Odalis Perez, and sum prospect pitcher Hanharan? has been discussed as well.

Only 8:20 p.m down here in Australia, there's bout a 7 hour time difference I think.
-
I really think they'll hav to trade Edwin Jackson or Greg Miller to get an offensive stud for that lineup. Possibly Huff from Tampa Bay.

Buerhle Article Blue Jays: The Toronto Star reports that the Jays are closing in on Miguel Batista with an offer believed to be for three years and between $12 million-$14 million. Apparently, the Jays want him to make up his mind before the Winter Meetings start, and Batista's camp has been somewhat receptive. Devil Rays: The Rays made a contract offer to free agent outfielder Carl Everett on Tuesday morning and general manager Chuck LaMar said he expected to have a response by Thursday. LaMar said if there is no progress or the sides are too far apart, the Rays will move on to either Jose Cruz or Juan Gonzalez. Rockies: Left fielder Jay Payton tells MLB.com that he doesn't know how the signing of third baseman Vinny Castilla affects his chance to stay in Colorado. But the Rockies signed Castilla on Wednesday as a right-handed hitter with pop to bat sixth, behind Larry Walker. Of course, Payton did those jobs with aplomb in 2003, but now must wait for the Rockies to decide whether to tender him a contract. Rockies manager Clint Hurdle earlier told MLB.com that Jeromy Burnitz and Jose Cruz Jr. were viable candidates to replace Payton, partly because they tend to stay off the disabled list. The Rockies also were awaiting an answer from free-agent catching target Brent Mayne. Also this on this site u can listen to Rick Hahn talk about the Buerhle deal,

Enjoy, CHICAGO -- Despite having lost several key free agents already this offseason, the White Sox remain a central figure in the American League Central. With the Indians and Tigers still years away from contending and the Royals a question mark in terms of repeating their success from 2003, the White Sox’s biggest concern is catching the Minnesota Twins in the American League Central. But the Twins already have lost pitchers Eric Milton, LaTroy Hawkins, and closer Eddie Guardado. Nonetheless, general manager Kenny Williams will be looking to pare down a payroll that is almost at its limit without any free agents having been added. Paul Konerko ($8 million) and Billy Koch ($6.375) are candidates to be moved, if another team will pick up their salary after subpar seasons. Williams could be forced to trade one of his frontline players, such as Magglio Ordonez or Carlos Lee. 2003 Finish: 86-76, second place, AL Central. Deals so far: Signed right-hander Jon Garland to a one-year deal, thereby avoiding arbitration; Signed catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. to a one-year deal with a team option for 2005; Traded infielder Aaron Miles to Colorado for infielder Juan Uribe; Exercised $5 million club option on shortstop Jose Valentin; Exercised $4 million club option on right-hander Esteban Loaiza; Designated hitter Frank Thomas exercised his $6 million option to return for 2004; Released first baseman/outfielder Brian Daubach; Signed left-handed pitcher Mark Buehrle to three-year, $18 million contract with a club option for 2007. Players eligible for arbitration: Left-hander Mark Buehrle, outfielder Carlos Lee, left-hander Kelly Wunsch. Free agents offered arbitration: Right-handed pitchers Bartolo Colon (signed with Anaheim) and Tom Gordon (reportedly signed with New York Yankees). Free agents not offered arbitration: Infielder Tony Graffanino, outfielder Carl Everett, second baseman Roberto Alomar and right-hander Scott Sullivan (signed with Kansas City). Needs: Williams wants pitching, especially after losing cornerstones of the staff in Colon and Gordon. New manager Ozzie Guillen wants defense and speed added, making the White Sox a less home run-driven squad. The most important desire is bringing the roster in around the set $58 million payroll, with a large portion of that number already accounted for among a small group of rostered players. Dealing strengths: Top players such as Ordonez and Lee could bring back quite a return if Williams is forced to trade one of his superstars. Otherwise, the White Sox don’t really have an excess in any one particular area, looking primarily to get solid talent in exchange for higher salaries.

I'm neva gonna eat anythin from one of my future bosses afta reading ur story cwsox. Hope u r feelin betta.

I actually think he will too YAS. Most ppl forget he wasn't that bad of a pitcher for a really bad ballclub in Detroit and he was leadin that club in wins for a couple of years, hence why the Yanks traded for him. He just ain't a guy who thrives on high pressure situations and bein in da spotlight, and the Dodgers hav a great track record of turnin pitchers into stars down there. It's not out of the question he'll win 10 to 15 games for LA if he gets offensive support.

Hopefully this signin will show that is still some loyalty left in Pro Sports and Mark Buerhle and the team have demonstrated this. He could hav been hung out and left to dry and 2-10 but to his he came back, and no-one in the organisation ever doubted he wouldn't come back.
