  1. Yeah, apparently Kaplan said there's no one in the building that wants him. He seems like quite the douche. Makes me happy that albeit an idiot Brandon Marshall said "just shut up and kick the ball" during a locker room altercation with Gould
  2. Good thing NBC has Jon Jay telling us that we're watching White Sox baseball. I hope that bum never plays an out for this organization, and he can take Alonso to a triple-A team with him.
  3. A few years ago I would've thought Kipnis was going to be a really good player for a lot of years to come. What happened to this guy?
  4. I said "somewhat." By no means does Cordell starting on an ideally-contending team make a lick of sense, but I think he's a good 4th or 5th OF.
  5. Cordell can swing it & I continue to believe he has a future here somewhat. That ball was ripped
  6. Two days ago, Moncada had a homer, double and a sac fly. Yesterday he had an RBI. Today he has a single. I think you need to settle down.
  7. Anderson and Moncada each called for a pop out in foul territory and ran into each other. Moncada is down.
  8. You have nothing better to do, huh? There's probably a lot of Cubs message boards that you can praise the Cubs and bash the Sox on, so why are you here? Get lost, turd.
  9. Yeah, it's easy to say "there were a ton of other errors in that game" but Parkey sucked and he sucked the entire season. It was inevitable that he was going to blow another huge kick and he did so. Sometimes I'm thankful because losing in that way against the Rams the following week or in the Superdome would've been an even bigger kick in the nuts. Speaking of inevitable, it was just that that they were going to move on from Parkey; some people believe if they had a good kicker, they potentially go all the way. For this regime, they're not going to stand for that shit anymore, especially with his nonsensical antics after the game and in the days after. I also agree- trade for Gould or sign Bryant (who I can't believe is still a UFA btw)

  11. If you guys want the entire 1st round, let me know
  12. (for those without an ESPN Insider subscription) 1. Rutschman- Orioles 2. Witt- Royals 3. Chicago White Sox: Andrew Vaughn, 1B, Cal I've heard Kenny Williams loves prep shortstop C.J. Abrams, but I am not going to bet on the White Sox -- who have been more college-focused in the first round recently -- passing on Vaughn or Rutschman here. 4. Bleday- Marlins 5. Greene- Tigers 6. Abrams- Padres 7. Lodolo- Reds 8. Carroll- Rangers 9. Bishop- Braves 10. Allan- Giants
  13. You can't tell someone with a great rebuttal to change the sample size to 200 games especially since the sample size you're using for Eloy is ~20 games. Plus, you did say "immediately" become a star.
  14. Trout came up, wasn't a stud "immediately" yet became a star. JD Martinez struggled a ton in his first few pro seasons & look what he's become.
  15. Why? You didn't hear that unless you're an instant phenomenon, you suck? Shame on you
  16. Eloy is a month into his ML career so let's take it easy there. He's going to be a really good hitter for a lot of years. As for Yoan, he didn't necessarily dominate MILB if I remember correctly.
  17. Or they'll only care 24 because who gives a rat's ass anyhow
