Thank god Manuel didnt touch the lineup. If he gave anyone rest on a game like this with a day off coming up I would of f***ing killed him. But he didnt, so I have nothing to complain about. Supposedly she told some Cub fan to stick something up his ass. These Cub callers have been calling nonstop for about half an hour. She was basically mentioning that the Cubs got a lucky break the first game, and got screwed the second. It all evened out. This guy was believing the Cubs should of gotten both calls, which infuriated Julie Sweika. Some quality radio going on tonight, shouldnt be missed.

Im thinking of having a good laugh going through the game day thread. Betting on it being entertaining. I don't know what facing Conerjo does to our team, but this guy has (well had) our number this season. I can't believe I'm glad we don't have to face the Tigers the rest of the season. All Im asking of the Tigers is to play this way against MInn and KC.

Im hopeful of a 4-2 roadtrip with Loaiza on the bump tomorrow. We need to give this guy his 18th win, because more then likely he will keep the Sox in the game. Not only will it give him the most wins in the AL, but with a Pedro lost yesterday it seems every start he makes he furthers himself from the other Cy young contenders.

Im thankful that I missed the game tonight. I would of been screaming s*** at my TV, or going completely nuts on this message board. I dont have confidence in Garland tomorrow to get us out of this hole. Seems hes always good for giving up 4 or 5 runs, and Maroth is due for a good start. Although Im expecting Loaiza to do good for the finale. He needs an easy win before the upcoming stretch to build his confidence in the event of a bad start. If we do somehow get swept, chances are that we will drop out of first (possibly second). The worst possible scenario can only leave us 2 games out. Im not going to say their are alot of games left to make up, but there is 9 game homestand coming up. 4 of which are against Minn. Besides the Cleveland series next weekend, every remaining series left is against playoff contenders. Sox do well against good teams that aren't called the Mariners and maybe its better that we are facing these teams in the final month. Easier schedules will put more pressure on KC,MInn to win every series.

Well Sox better be playing well with Buehrle, its not looking good for Texas; who are losing 4-1 in the 8th. This Detroit series can make up for the s*** performances that have proceeded this upcoming matchup. I honestly am expecting a sweep of the Tigers. But once again (what always seems to happen in critical series) the Sox are facing a pitcher they've never seen. Bill Melton made a comment on the post game show today that the Sox have faced 20 never-before seen pitchers this season. I didn't catch the record during these game, but needless to say its not good.
