ESPN wants MLB to return...
This is how everything is on ESPN. Their basketball broadcast is atrocious.

Sox, Cubs, Brewers, Twins paired together in future?
big brain logic!

Sox, Cubs, Brewers, Twins paired together in future?
Get rid of the entire AL/NL model. Have all teams play each and every team an equal amount. 4-5 games against every team (math). No divisions or leagues. Either scrap the wildcard and the top 8 make it, or keep the current 12 team playoff system and give the top teams byes.

Nobody wants to see pitchers hit.

Fire Chris Getz
I was starting to give him credit for the farm system looking improved, but I'm rescinding that. Getz fucked blows.

FutureSox Top 30 Content
Thank you @Y2Jimmy0, @Sleepy Harold and whoever else posts here and contributes to FutureSox. It's an awesome publication and the top prospect lists are always a treat. I hope in the near future when Ishbia takes over the Sox will be a world class organization with a large fanbase so more people can appreciate what you put out there.

FutureSox Top 30 Content
I don't like rubbing things in, but @fathom and @southsider2k5 may have to eat a little crow after they see the Chairman of the Board's prospect ranking. He's going to be ranked higher than expected on the FutureSox rankings and a fringe top 100 guy.

8/12 Games
Who do you think? Antonacci.

8/12 Games
The Chairman of the Board simply can't be stopped from getting on base. Just needs to start getting some more XBHs.

You got pwned by greg. He's still got it.

8/8 Games
I was completely checked out for 1-2 years so I had no idea what this was in reference to. What the f*** was the point of this trade when you are an all-time bad team? The guys numbers were pretty solid for a 17 year old. This feels like a dumb move that could become Tatis Jr-esque. Obviously very unlikely, but it just feels unbelievably stupid.

Really? I figured he'd at least be towards the bottom of the top 100.

8/6 Games
I wonder where in the top 100 Antonacci will rank after this season. I'm assuming it's a given if he keeps this production up. His ability to get on base is silly.

8/6 Games
It's absurd that you can't click a player's name and see their stats in the first link posted in this thread. Inexcusable on the MLB's part. Drives me nuts.
-
8/6 Games
You're right. His stats aren't atrocious or anything. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but there were some good hitters available like you said. It's painful seeing multiple hitters drafted right after him excelling so much.

8/6 Games
Such a shame. I think they bought into the idea that they can turn any big lefty into a dominant pitcher. Missing on a high 1st rounder is really painful.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Maybe even hare coursing, like the good old days.

White Sox in 2026
That's how I view it. My buddies who are Cubs fans are furious that Ricketts hasn't been willing to dish out even a single big contract like the Dodgers and Yankees do regularly. They'll be very upset if the Cubs can't extend him.

White Sox in 2026
Imagine Ishbia takes more control next season and the Sox sign Tucker to send a message to the league. That would be glorious. Especially as a f*** you to the Cubs.
-
Would you be on board with a rebrand when Ishbia takes over?
Somebody else mentioned this. Changing the classic Sox logo that they've had for 3+ decades. No doubt it's an awesome logo, but the rebrand would represent change. The end of the Reinsdorf era. Would you be in favor or a rebrand/new logo?

White Sox in 2026
So well said. I was going to make a thread about Getz deserving kudos for this, be you summarized it really well. This organization couldn't draft or develop hitters AT ALL. The middle infield was always a hole aside from Tim Anderson. I love the players they've been drafting and developing. There's some guys with huge OBP potential. That's something this organization has sorely missed. Yeah, we definitely need guys with more power potential. But I like that the Sox have in the minors as far as infield prospects go.
