  1. This thread is ?
  2. Lol I like how often music videos/clips are getting thrown into posts. @South Side Hit Men has USHERed in a new era.
  3. Did he put on too much muscle mass? Did he lose too much on his fastball? Is he not using the change enough? Does he choke against good teams? Jimmy brings up a good point. What are fans so worried about resigning him when he isn't that good this year?
  4. TLR is a great manager
  5. Damn, I completely forgot Eaton. Good call.
  6. I can't help but think about all the players to Sox acquire that end up being dead money. It's typically barging bin contracts on washed up players. Going back to 2019 (because I'm lazy), here are contracts that were basically worthless. It may be unfair to include relievers (Herrera) and guys who just aged poorly, but I did. Is it normal for teams to have this much dead money? I understand it for teams that are big spenders, but the White Sox aren't big spenders. 2019 - 20.5m total Kelvin Herrera - 8.5m Jon Jay - 4m Yonder Alonso - 8m (bought out) 2020 - 36.5m Edwin Encarnacion - 12m Nomar Mazara - 5.5m Yonder Alonso - 1m (buyout) Kelvin Herrera - 12m (buyout) Cishek - 6m 2021 - 2m Cesar Hernandez (2m~) Eaton - 8m 2022 (23.5m) Keuchel - 18m Harrison - 5.5m TBD - Yaz - 18.2m

What a freaking stud Montgomery looks like. I wish they would have gone after high schoolers in early rounds in the past.
  8. Yuck
  9. I'm sure they're frustrated by his inability to hit too. He's been just awful.

That's kind of what I figured. Sox are towards the bottom in the minor league system rankings. It would be really surprising if they had 4 top 100 prospects given their minors rankings.
  11. Hard to think of a more unenjoyable member than that guy. Buzz Killington.
  12. If this continues into next year, it will be a Brett Favre - Aaron Rodgers situation between Abreu and Vaughn

Do we really think we'll have 4 top 100 prospects? I feel like Montgomery and Sosa will get on there. Not sure about Colas or Ramos.

Lenyn Sosa hitting .340 with 13 HRs through 57 games. That's at a young age in a pitchers park. The guy has been absolutely ridiculous. I understand hot streaks, but 57 games is a good sample size. I'm really excited for him.
  15. Switch pitching is so intriguing. Obviously, it's ridiculously hard to master. What kind of pitch counts would we see with a switch pitcher? Very interesting.
  16. Javy is a player that will age horribly, imo
  17. Yes. That's how these things work.
  18. Clemens naming his kids all with "k" names is the douchiest thing imaginable.
  19. Are the Sox players allowed to hit dingers against these position players?
  20. Great piece of hitting by Yoan. If he is back to being good and Eloy starts hitting, is burger trade bait?
