Look at his numbers last year. His K% and BB% were great. They haven't been as good this year, but he's hitting a home run every other game, literally. He's being more aggressive and it shows based on his K% and good slugging. And he's young for his level like you said. Give the dude some time to adjust.

"Draft all the shortstops" they said. Now we have too many middle infield prospects and not enough outfield prospects! We have Antonacci playing the outfield right now, Gonzalez raking in AAA.

I'd look into trading him for an absolute haul if possible. Getz will be a legend if he can pull off a heist of great prospects.

I didn't know Thorpe was having issues with his surgically repaired elbow. Hopefully it's nothing. The dream scenario is that he gains one or two MPH on his fastball after the surgery. I'm not too high on him but if he can become a #3 pitcher, that would be a win at this point.

Wouldn't a retractable roof limit some of the best views, which seem to be one of the biggest selling points? Skyline view, potential Chicago River home runs. Traditional parks are way more visually appealing. I get it though. Retractable roof would be great.

People slammed Getz for his moves, but you rightfully defended him for how he did given payroll constraints. When you look at the win-to-payroll ratio of this team, he's done a great job.
