The White Sox game is on the Peacock channel this Sunday. I have no clue as to how I can acquire the channel. I have AT%T Uverse . Do I call AT%T? Can I just buy the channel for the one day?

Hey WBWSF, this may or may not be helpful, but for what it's worth, I don't have a traditional TV-- just a Dell laptop computer, with U-Verse as my Wi-Fi, and I simply went to the CHSN website and signed up for their "Sox games only" option, for $19.99 per month (via credit card). And I'm happy as a lark watching every Sox game on my laptop. The picture quality is great, and the broadcast coverage very professional. You can cancel any time. Sure, watching on the laptop isn't up there with the big-screen experience, but I'm loving it!

P.S. They offer a 7-day free trial, so if you should decide it's not for you, you can cancel before any charges are assessed to your credit card.

I get Peacock, Hulu, and Disney+ for free through Xfinity.

I didn’t like the game being off CHSN… which is strange because I’m not pro or anti Schrif.

Guess it was just strange hearing Stone be a little more neutral and listening to another announcer be pumped when the Indians did something positive for them.

My streams were in and out yesterday, was nice to finally sit down and watch most of it without an issue on the MLB.tv archive. In general the broadcast was garbage. Peacock is the absolute worst production with the laziest cheapest crews possible. Same s%*# with college sports. What is even the point of sending the Cleveland play by play guy, with their dugout guy, to join Steve Stone? It was so awkward when the dugout guy would chime in, like they forgot he was there and had to let him talk once and awhile.

Just found out the whole wild card round is on Peacock? What a bunch of bullshit. One more reason to get the 2 seed haha

That's insanely dumb of the MLB if true. Limiting their potential audience by a lot.

Unfortunately, this is something to get used to. Games on Apple TV, Peacock, Amazon Prime, etc. Different streaming services all over the place. Being in Iowa, I have to pull channel 19.3 off of the antenna and stream it over my network. CHSN is hard to get otherwise. Iowa is considered black out area for MLB TV (along with Cubs, Brewers, Royals, Cardinals, and Twins). Peacock is actually much easier for me to work with.

MLB really needs to get it together to make it easier for fans to see who they want wherever they want.

I bit the $10 bullet. Was looking forward to sinking into the couch to catch the game after a long weekend of hosting family. Was enjoyable indeed.

What was funny was when the Cleveland play by play guy said it was Gonzales who hit the home run when it was Peters in reality. he corrected himself when Peters was running the bases.
