Didn't see this move coming really, but with Sanchez tearing it up, it was hard to leave him down there with Johnson not tearing it up offensively or defensively up here. Hope MJ continues to get better in AAA and not take it to heart but only work harder just how Sanchez did.

Pitching a top the charts for this upcoming draft. Tyler Jay come on down. I really think Wendelken, and Chalas can be in the bullpen in a couple years. (huge supporter of Wendelken). They view Wheeler as a reliever, I can see him as that long man like what Carroll/Noesi is now. Overall, encouraging stuff about other prospects that might not be high on people's lists.

In terms of catching prospects, what about Illinois catcher Jason Goldstein? He's listed at 6 foot 210 pounds and is catching one of the best pitching staffs in the nation. He's hitting .302 8 HRS 41 RBIs but does have 7 errors...

After reading what McDaniel has been writing about the 2016 draft, I'm glad we gave up 2 picks this year rather than next year.
