  1. I thought he was safe. Rodin missed the bag on the way down it looked like.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 29, 2015 -> 09:21 PM) I was all set to compliment Melky on that catch and then he threw it like he was up against the wall. How was that bad by Melky? Running catch at the ankles, and try and get the tying run out at the plate.
  3. QUOTE (LDF @ May 29, 2015 -> 03:30 PM) after the july 2 deadline. sign them all and screw the cap. take the 2 yr penalty. I agree, we'll probably be having a draft in the not to distant future anyway.
  4. Now that I think about it, and read more things about this kid. I want this kid badly.
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ May 29, 2015 -> 01:41 PM) https://twitter.com/jimcallisMLB/status/604356216999911424 First draft note I've looked at this year. No idea who these guys are. Tyler Jay, LHP from U of I. Mainly used out of the bullpen, but has 2 plus pitches right now in the fb and slider while his change is getting there.
  6. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 29, 2015 -> 12:05 PM) If Tate is available I would all aboard that train. I think I'd take Fulmer over him, but that'd be it. Agreed. Fulmer, Jay, and Tate, I would be fine with.
  7. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150529 Charlotte- Penny Birmingham- Barnette Winston Salem- Heidenreich Kannapolis- Martinez
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:53 PM) Beck was pretty shaky, but really for a major league debut, to go 6 and the team is still in the game isn't all that bad, even though the numbers don't look so good. His numbers look better than Rodon's last start lol.
  9. I swear the infield shifting the Sox do cost them way more guys on base than outs. It's unreal, how many times the Sox infield is not in position. With that said, not a bad outing from Beck. Just better command next time out and he can definitely have a different result. His fb running in on righties could be real good. He got around 5 soft ground balls today.
  10. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:37 PM) Sox get 3 walks and nothing other teams against Sox score 3 runs easy. Boston needs to wake up as first base coach. He is so bad as a first base coach. I've never liked him. He always looks clueless. Fans elbow just knocked that out of Conor's glove. And then he hits a double lol
  11. Should be bases loaded with 1 out. Unreal how this team constantly shoots themselves in the foot.
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:30 PM) I would rather have a root canal than watch Danks. I had one. Worst part was the shot.
  13. QUOTE (Dunt @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:28 PM) I'm not going to lie, I would much rather watch Beck every 5 days than Danks Same, just cause we don't know yet, he's got decent stuff, just a matter of control right now. First start jitters. We know what John Danks is/was.
  14. QUOTE (shipps @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:03 PM) When was the last good Whitesox pitching debut? Seriously. Scott Carroll last year vs David Price lol. I was at that game.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 28, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) @FisolaNYDN: The front office rift with Thibodeau accelerated when coaching staff wanted to draft Draymond Green in 2012. They took Marquis Teague. Oops Ugh, reading that hurts my eyes.
  16. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150528 Charlotte- Guerra Birmingham- Blackmar Winston Salem- Cose Kannapolis- Peralta
  17. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ May 28, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) Has Guerra been pitching? It looks like he's thrown less than 6 innings all season. Junior Guerra, new to the organization this year. Believed he pitched in Mexico or Japan last year.
  18. I love Cabrera's arm. Jones is out if Soto can catch the damn ball.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 28, 2015 -> 04:37 PM) I really want to see Rodon dominate tomorrow to torment the Astros even more for their draft selection from last year. Combined with how much the Astros strike out, Rodon could have a field day tomorrow.
